Subway and BIG launch joint CS:GO campaign

Berlin International Gaming and the world’s largest sandwich chain SUBWAY announce the official launch of a joint campaign for the German esports community.
The collaboration, which began back in early March, has so far taken place with interactive formats on our digital channels. This summer, the campaign will now be expanded to include an innovative tournament format for the German Counter-Strike community. The planned CS:GO tournament, which will be held via the in-house GoBIG League, will offer amateur players and BIG fans a very special experience: in a unique and nostalgic way, the qualification and final event will turn the previous norms of the well-known competition upside down by featuring oldschool Counter-Strike favorites such as he_tennis or fy_poolday. Our professional players will also participate in the tournament to compete in mixed teams with the community. The entertaining format will be stramed by a professional broadcast on our Twitch.
Daniel Finkler, CEO Berlin International Gaming: We have already been cooperating with Subway since March as part of a joint campaign, which is initially planned to run until Summer. In addition to digital formats on our channels around the existing event coverage, we are now looking forward to an exciting and entertaining tournament format in June, which we will realize together with Subway within our GoBIG League for the German community.
Berkan Güngör, Digital Marketing Manager SUBWAY: It is a great pleasure for us to work with Berlin International Gaming, such a likeable and authentic gaming organization. As SUBWAY, it is close to our hearts to support the German CS:GO community and encourage its growth. The upcoming tournament, which includes a lot of attention to detail, is a small contribution to the lively and active CS scene in Germany. We are full of anticipation to see what the future holds for the community and are proud to be part of this exciting scene soon.
