World-class supplier hires experienced executive to lead company into new era

Playbook Engineering, a leading global betting platform provider, has appointed Ivo Doroteia to serve as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Doroteia has a wealth of experience in the iGaming industry, working as CEO at Sportingtech and Betomall before being appointed Chief Strategy Officer for iGaming Platform in May of 2022.

Doroteia’s appointment will bolster Playbook Engineering’s reputation as a major global player within the sportsbook and casino sectors. Working with tier-one operators and white labels has made it possible for the platform to be reliable, deliver consistent results and be flexible for years whilst developing cutting-edge features to be compliant and competitive in line with providing the best user experience in the industry.

Playbook Engineering is proven in the United Kingdom (UK) market, where it has a reputation for supplying tier-one operators with a robust platform, offering highly efficient onboarding and very limited downtime. The next step for the company is to further promote its UK offering while also looking to new jurisdictions such as Latin America, specifically Brazil, and United States markets.

With a fantastic track record in the UK, Playbook Engineering is establishing itself as the number-one platform provider in regulated markets. In soon-to-be regulated markets such as Brazil, Playbook Engineering has been following the regulation process, working with local authorities, gaming labs such as GLI and operators for the last two years and is ready to provide its platform once Brazil is regulated, bringing all of its expertise and knowledge to the region. This will position Playbook Engineering as a licensed alternative to incumbent platform providers.

He will also be participating in a panel on June 15 discussing the global expectation of the Brazilian iGaming market.
