Hireroo and TalentXD merge, aiming to help iGaming firms expand internationally
Recruitment agency Hireroo has announced its merger with TalentXD, a boutique recruitment and talent advisory house focused on the iGaming sector. This strategic partnership heralds the creation of a new iGaming recruitment service, adding a new Executive Search vertical to Hireroo’s existing Recruitment Agency vertical. With this merger, the company will be able to expand its footprint into new markets, placing iGaming talent in Scandinavia, Europe, and Africa.
Leading the charge is Kim Gehrke, TalentXD’s founder and seasoned professional in iGaming recruitment, who has been appointed CEO. With more than a decade of international recruitment experience, Kim’s deep understanding of the industry’s nuances will drive the company’s strategy. Speaking about his candidate-centric approach, Gehrke emphasised, “In the fast-paced world of iGaming, personal connections matter. I pride myself on building lasting relationships, remembering the professional journeys of those I interact with. With the combined strength of Hireroo and TalentXD, we aim to elevate the candidate experience in iGaming recruitment to unparalleled levels.”
TalentXD’s extensive track record of supporting European companies in recruitment and HR projects, as well as diverse markets like Africa, brings a wealth of knowledge to this merger. “iGaming companies are always exploring new markets. Having first hand experience in recruiting for countries with diverse HR landscapes adds a unique edge to our merged entity, making us a go-to solution for iGaming businesses looking to expand internationally,” Gehrke added.
Justin Paul Anastasi, the force behind OverPWR, the VC owner of Hireroo, shed light on the merger’s timing. “The iGaming industry is ever-evolving, and this partnership with TalentXD allows us to leap ahead, harnessing Kim’s expertise to supercharge our executive search function in this domain in Europe and beyond. The expanding gaming industry in Africa presents a golden opportunity for us to bridge the gap between Gaming companies and the rich talent pool the continent offers.”
