City of Dreams Mediterranean Named “Best New Luxury Casino Resort”

City of Dreams Mediterranean, Europe’s first integrated resort (IR), has been named Best New Luxury Casino Resort – World at the 2023 Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards (SSLHLA).
It was the first time in their 11 years that SSLHLA has presented an award for Best New Luxury Casino Resort – World, a recognition which the organisers said, “highlight(s) the extraordinary calibre of this establishment, setting a new standard for luxury casino resorts worldwide.”
Newly opened in July this year, City of Dreams Mediterranean is owned and operated by Melco Resorts & Entertainment. Located in Limassol, Cyprus, the establishment is Europe’s first integrated resort and the largest premier integrated destination resort in the region.
In a ceremony which took place in Crete on 28 October, City of Dreams Mediterranean was presented by SSLHLA with the Signum Virtutis seal of excellence, the highest and most exclusive award for the pinnacle of luxury hospitality and lifestyle.
Grant Johnson, Property General Manager of City of Dreams Mediterranean, said: “This award represents a culmination of five years of hard work, passion, and commitment to excellence. But it is also a pledge for the future: Melco and City of Dreams Mediterranean will continue to set the bar high, redefine luxury entertainment and hospitality, and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.”
