Max Holloway makes more history as UFC legend becomes first MMA fighter to sign for Kick.com
Former UFC Champion and number one ranked Featherweight Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway has signed a streaming deal with Kick .com. Holloway, an avid streamer who has been active in the gaming space since 2016, becomes the first mixed martial artist to join the Kick platform in an official capacity. Holloway plans on streaming a range of content, including Apex Legends, Fortnite, Madden and UFC 5, while engaging in conversation with his subscribers and fans from across the world.
In regard to his switch to join Kick, Holloway said: “I’m so excited to join the Kick community. I have been streaming video games with my fans for a long time, but the functionality and sense of community on this platform is a whole new level. I can’t wait to build and grow with the Kick family, and continue to engage with my fans in both the MMA and gaming world.”
Holloway plans to be streaming on Kick over 10 hours per week, in between his MMA training schedule. He is anticipated to return to the UFC Octagon in early 2024, once again at the top of the sport.
Kick, which sponsors Sauber Motorsport’s’s Esports team and F1 team, as well as Everton in the English Premier League, has disrupted the streaming world since its inception, offering its partners and creators better economic terms and a more relaxed content policy than its competitors. Holloway is the latest of many high profile streamers to cross over to Kick since its launch in late 2022 and is the first mixed martial artist to join the platform as an official partner.
Akhil Sarin, Chief Marketing Officer for Kick, said: “Max Holloway is renowned for being the best boxer in UFC, but it’s his impact with Kick that we are most excited about. The interest and engagement in his initial streams was clear to see and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the platform in an official capacity.”
Fans are encouraged to visit and register on Kick .com and follow Kick .com/MaxHolloway.
Holloway has already been active on the platform, but will have his first official stream as a Kick Partner on November 17, 2023, which will include playing Apex Legends, and a number of other subscriber activities including Q&A and fan giveaways.
