Spinomenal releases Buffalo Rampage Hold & Hit
Leading iGaming content provider Spinomenal has enhanced its Wildlife Slot Series with the release of Buffalo Rampage Hold & Hit.
This latest title from Spinomenal is set across a vast landscape that stretches along a rugged tapestry of towering mountains and sweeping plains. The medium symbols include an Eagle, Black Bear, Wolf, and Big Cat. A powerful Buffalo represents the Wild and three or more pay when followed by a free spin or a bonus symbol. The Wild substitutes for any symbol except free spins and bonus symbols.
Three Scatter Free Spins symbols trigger the Free Spins game. In the base game, these Scattered Free Spins symbols will only appear on reels 1, 3, and 5. Three Scattered symbols will earn three free spins that return 3x the total bet.
During this free spins round, symbols have the potential to become a colossus symbol (3×3), spreading across the centre of reels 2 to 4. Scattered symbols (bonus or free spins) will only appear as a colossus symbol and will launch its feature. A Free Spins colossus symbol will grant players another three free spins and pay x3 the total bet.
The Hold & Hit adds another layer of wild entertainment to the game. Six or more Scattered bonus symbols take players into the bonus game where the symbols that triggered the feature will stay in place for the bonus. Players kick things off with three spins and once the empty spots are completed with glittering diamonds, or when the spins are finished, the game ends.
Spots can be filled with each spin and at the same time grant players with prizes ranging from x1 – x10 multiplier of the total bet. The Mini Jackpot – pays x25 total bet, Major Jackpot – pays x50 total bet and the Mega Jackpot – pays x250 total bet. Each time a spin has a positive result, the counter will reset the remaining spins to three. Any player who manages to complete all 15 spots will secure the Grand Jackpot and a prize of x5000 the total bet.
Spinomenal CO-CEO, Omer Henya commented: “Buffalo Rampage continues to be a fan favourite amongst players and that reputation has been secured with the addition of Hold & Hit. The five different jackpots are the true big 5 that players will be hunting on the reels.”

Industry Investments in Responsible Gaming Reach New High of $472 Million Annually, AGA Study Shows
Research Reflects Heightened Responsibility Commitments as Industry Grow.
New research from the American Gaming Association (AGA), reveals a significant increase in responsible gaming (RG) investments from gaming industry companies, with total spending reaching $471.8 million annually—up from approximately $275 million (+72%) in 2017.
Conducted by a major international accounting firm, the research demonstrates a surge in industry-wide RG spending that has grown at a faster rate than gaming revenue over the past seven years. Several key program areas are seeing significant spending commitments as the industry expands, including:
- Customer Service Interactions: $135.4 million.
- Developing and Maintaining Responsible Gaming Programs: $122.4 million.
- Consumer-Facing Responsible Gaming Education: $107.7 million.
- Responsible Gaming Research and Other Non-Profit RG Organizations: $31.8 million.
- Problem Gambling Supportive Services: $26.1 million.
“This impactful rise in RG spending demonstrates the legal industry’s dedication to fostering a safe and informed gaming environment,” said Joe Maloney, AGA Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications. “Beyond the considerable taxes gaming companies contribute to fund responsible gaming and problem gambling resources, the industry also proactively invests hundreds of millions of dollars more to ensure our customers have the tools, knowledge and safeguards to play responsibly.”
The new AGA research comes during Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM) 2024, during which industry stakeholders have demonstrated their commitments to responsible gaming through an array of activations and announcements. Earlier this September, the AGA released a first-of-its-kind Responsible Gaming Intervention Effectiveness Scale to provide academics, industry members and more with a research-based tool to evaluate responsible gaming messages.
“Our industry’s commitment to responsibility once again made RGEM a resounding success,” continued Maloney. “We look forward to seeing the work done throughout this past month provide a springboard for continued advancements in responsible gaming in the months and years to come.”
