BetConstruct: World GES recap
World Gaming Executive Summit 2018 passed and BetConstruct takes a look back to review the results of the event.
During the lively discussions at the event a number of industry related burning questions were raised. Touching upon the advancements in the IT sphere, the participants of the C-Suite panel called “The future of sports betting – what will the industry look like in 2030?“. Inspired by a widespread feature of e-commerce, a recommendation system, BetConstruct has this concept integrated into its Sportsbook. Based on each player’s behavior and betting style, Recommendation System in BetConstruct’s Sportsbook has personalized offer with several bets, that player might like creating a better experience for them and increasing bet amounts on our partners’ websites.
Continuing the hot topic of AI, the panelists discussed its implementation into the trading desk and smart odds can be one of the milestones that machine learning strives to reach. However, BetConstruct never underestimates the value of human impact. As far as it may take a while for a technology that can follow the betting patterns and detect fixed matches to be developed, there already is a perfect tool solving this issue – a pair of trained eyes.
World GES also outlined the recent legislative updates in Europe and the USA. The new regulatory frameworks will open up more possibilities for international operators to fully explore the potential of the markets. We believe the laws will continue to improve for both the governments and the operators.
