GeoComply Wins 2018 Global Gaming Award for Responsible Business of the Year
GeoComply is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of the 2018 Global Gaming Award for ‘Responsible Business of the Year’. This award recognizes GeoComply’s leadership in providing the highest level of geolocation and anti-fraud compliance to support the iGaming and sports betting industry. GeoComply also won this award in 2016 and made the shortlist in 2017.
The Global Gaming Awards are the gaming industry’s most prestigious awards, voted for by 65 of the industry’s most respected CEOs and senior executives, making them the most legitimate and authoritative in the industry. GeoComply was chosen ahead of nine competitors, in a very competitive category.
“We are absolutely thrilled to win this important award as the Responsible Business of the Year for 2018,” says Anna Sainsbury, Founder and Chairman of GeoComply. “Because these awards are decided on by our industry peers, we are humbled and honored by the recognition. Effective geolocation is a cornerstone of the iGaming and sports betting industry and we are very proud to play a role.”
Sainsbury continued: “As the iGaming and sports betting world expands post-PASPA, it’s extremely important for vendors and operators to act responsibly and work hard to proactively anticipate the future challenges to our industry. With increased scrutiny by all levels of government and other interested parties in terms of monitoring virtual borders, we are committed to providing and maintaining the highest levels of security and integrity for the iGaming and sports betting industry.”
