Bryony Frost, Tom Stanley and Donn McClean join Team Matchbook as Brand Ambassadors
Following on from the news that they will be sponsoring the Grade One Clarence House Chase Raceday at Ascot in January, as well as four races this weekend at Cheltenham’s Showcase meeting, Matchbook Betting Exchange has announced that Tom Stanley and Donn McClean will join Bryony Frost as Brand Ambassadors. The trio will work alongside Team Matchbook, detailing exclusive access to their racing schedules and providing regular contributions to Insights.Matchbook.com and the Matchbook Betting Podcast allowing Matchbook’s customers unique insight.
Grade One-winning jockey Bryony Frost took the world of horse racing by storm last season after turning professional, claiming big race successes on Black Corton and Milansbar in a memorable season and she is focussed on further success in the coming season. With her talent in the saddle being complimented by her infectious enthusiasm for the sport, there couldn’t be a better representative for Matchbook racing.
Bryony Frost said: “It’s class to say I’m teaming up with Matchbook again this year. The season has begun and the meetings are starting to roll in thick and fast. I’m very lucky to be teamed up with some fantastic and highly talented yards, that allow me to fly the flag for them. It’s something else to say I live and love my horses and my racing and call it my job! For a way of life it’s an epic one to be wrapped up in.”
Racing UK pundit Tom Stanley will be hosting Matchbook’s weekly horse racing podcasts well as having a regular column appear on Matchbook’s Insight page. Tom’s love affair with racing started when his father’s first horse, Cheval De Guerre, won first time out at Warwick for Kim Bailey in the mid-nineties. Tom’s first job in racing was with Oddschecker as a tipster and columnist and that led to him landing a job with Racing UK. Over the last five years, Tom has worked his way to becoming a lead presenter on the channel and boasts an equal passion for both flat and National Hunt racing.
Tom Stanley said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Matchbook team ahead of what promises to be an extremely exciting year.”
Donn McClean is a highly respected commentator on horse racing both in Ireland and in the UK whose fluid writing style and expansive knowledge will be seen on Matchbook’s Insight page and heard regularly on Matchbook’s horse racing Podcast. He is now the main racing writer with the Sunday Times in Ireland, he writes weekly columns for the Sunday Times and the Irish Field, and he has ghost-written four racing autobiographies. In 2014 and in 2015, he was nominated for the HWPA Racing Writer of the Year award.
Mark Brosnan CEO of Matchbook said:
“We are delighted to welcome Bryony, Tom and Donn to Team Matchbook. They all share an incredible passion for horse racing and are a fantastic fit for the Matchbook brand. We are continually working to expand our content and give our customers more insight into their favourite sports, this is another great example of that commitment. ”
