Edinburgh-based B2B software developer ‘Incentive Games’ have won the 2019 Sports Technology Award for ‘Best Crowdfunded Business” as well as also being shortlisted for the prestigious Yahoo! “Best Technology for Sports Betting” award which will be announced later in the year.
The awards represent a continuation of the momentum that Incentive Games generated at the end of 2018After completing a deal with East African bookmaker BetLion at the end of 2018 to launch their STAR (Sports Tool for Acquisition and Retention) platform in Uganda and Kenya with the operator. Incentive Games are continuing to build industry momentum this year with these 2 accolades already.
Incentive Games build software for businesses which allows them to acquire customers at a fraction of the industry standard cost through innovative gamification. They create engaging, accessible games which go beyond customer acquisition in providing businesses the means to significantly improve customer retention rates as well as more efficiently monetise their userbase through upselling bespoke versions of their clients’ high value products and services.
The Incentive Games ‘STAR’ platform, the product shortlisted for Best Sports Betting Technology, offers a completely customisable sports engagement tool for their clients, providing access to upsell to both team and player betting markets from a single free-to-play platform.
The platform hosts several games including a score predictor and instant fantasy.
The STAR platform offers users the chance to win weekly cash prizes by predicting the outcome of real life matches and building the best instant fantasy team from a chosen fixture. The STAR platform analyses the users in-game choices and behaviours to build and pre-populate bet-slips from a client’s sportsbook which are bespoke to that player. The STAR platform boasts industry leading in-game latency; instantaneous match updates ensures that users are kept up to date with every pass, yard, hit, dunk, run and goal in real time – operators never miss out on the in-play action.
Incentive Games will be present at the Betting on Football event next week with CEO and GBEA Entrepreneur of the Year runner up, John Gordon, joining a panel discussion on customer loyalty. Incentive Games will also be exhibiting at this year’s Betting on Sports America conference in New Jersey. If you would like to book a meeting with Incentive Games at either event, please contact [email protected] or visit the team in New Jersey in April at stand number 428.
