OKTO To Showcase Fintech Gaming Solutions At SBWA 2019

OKTO Group, the financial technology provider specialising in innovative digital payment and player engagement applications, is primed and ready to attend next week’s Sports Betting West Africa (SBWA) event in Lagos, Nigeria.
OKTO’s commercial team will be on hand at stand #1017 during the three-day conference, held between the 23rd and 25th July, to demonstrate how its mobile-centric payment solution can drive player engagement leveraging cutting-edge financial technologies.
The Athens-based company aims to tackle the challenges currently faced by Nigerian operators in bridging the gap between the payment and retail experience, providing a seamless digital journey across multiple player channels with add-on loyalty and promotional functions.
Fresh after hiring Simon Dorsen to head up its gaming division, OKTO is preparing to hit the ground running in Africa and build on the success of its digital banking, mobile payment and retail products in Europe.
With experience in directly operating an established network of 5,000 points of sale across multiple jurisdictions and processing transactions reaching up to €1 billion, the payment service provider is well positioned for rapid growth in the region.
Simon Dorsen, Director of Gaming at OKTO, said: “Behind OKTO’s gaming solution is a wealth of knowledge in betting and gaming, which has driven us to create a fully digital experience that truly responds to the challenges of the modern market.
“With our technology, operators can access mobile based cashless and paperless betting solutions that address the unique challenges in Africa; reducing cash handling costs, speeding up the flow of transactions and delivering a better player experience. We’re extremely excited to showcase our innovative solutions to SBWA attendees.”
