Suncity Grants Special Paid Leave to its Employees For 15-day Casino Closure
Suncity Group has granted special paid leave to its employees for the current 15-day closure of gaming activities.
“Holidays generated between 5 February and 19 February will be special paid leave – we will neither offset your annual leave, nor deduct from your salaries. We will not ask any colleagues to take unpaid leave either, so don’t worry,” Alvin Chau, CEO of Suncity Group, said.
Chau emphasised that Suncity Group boasts a strong financial base to ride out the storm and will support the SAR government in fighting the novel Coronavirus epidemic.
All 41 of Macau’s casinos, as well as slot machine lounges and VIP rooms, have suspended operations for 15 days starting from midnight on February 5 following a directive last week from Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng.
