Racing TV to offer full multi-media live coverage of 2021 Breeders’ Cup

Del Mar Racecourse – where the Breeders Cup will be staged on November 5 and 6
Racing TV will offer a full multi-media viewer and user experience for its live coverage of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Del Mar Racecourse on November 5 and 6.
Racing TV’s television and digital platforms will showcase all 14 top-class races, including 13 Grade 1 events, at the “World Championships”, which draws horses from all over the globe.
Live coverage will be from 9pm (GMT) on Friday and 5.45pm on Saturday and hosted by Tom Stanley, Angus McNae and George Baker, while Nick Luck and Rishi Persad’s on-course interviews will be relayed via the NBC and ‘Players’ Show’ feeds from Del Mar. The coverage will be available on Sky 426, Virgin 536 (Britain) and 411 (Ireland), Apple TV and Vodafone (Ireland), racingtv and the Racing TV Apps.
Racing TV are offering a free month trial to all new viewers, who will be able to watch over 70 live British and Irish meetings, plus complete coverage of the Breeders’ Cup on TV, online and mobile. Viewers can start their free month now at racingtv. com/freemonth.
A special one-hour Breeders’ Cup preview show, The Knowledge, will be hosted by McNae and Rachel Candelora at 6.45pm on Thursday to whet the appetite. Luck on Sunday, hosted by Tom Stanley and Jane Mangan, will have all the latest from the morning after from 9am on Sunday.
Racingtv hosts a dedicated Breeders’ Cup section, with latest news, interviews – including with Aidan and Joseph O’Brien – archive and video form. Extensive preview content includes Profiles of all the British and Irish challengers, Five great British and Irish-trained winners and Del Mar’s history and what winners require. Racing TV’s social media channels will be publishing all the latest developments as they unfold, as well as near-live replays.
Racing TV has also committed to a full, innovative marketing plan, including advertising in a national newspaper, racecourses’ racecards, racecourse CCTV, race names at racecourses, and marketing collateral aimed at the 10,000 pubs and clubs which show Racing TV.

Racing TV has broadcast 11 of the 16 Breeders’ Cup “Win and you’re in” Challenge races in Britain and Ireland this year and has ramped up the anticipation through Breeders’ Cup sections on flagship shows such as Luck on Sunday and The Verdict, and a daily “Countdown to the Breeders’ Cup’ feature.
