YGG SEA Malaysia Partners with ESPL to Leverage P2E Virtual Economy in the SEA Region

Esports Players League (ESPL), the global amateur esports tournament and platform provider and Southeast Asia’s leading gaming guild, Yield Guild Games Southeast Asia (YGG SEA) are proud to announce a partnership that aims to bring forth a new era of competitive gaming into the regional esports ecosystem and community.
YGG SEA is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that acquires and manages non-fungible tokens (NFTs) used in the metaverse, with a mission to create the biggest and most sustainable Play-to-Earn (P2E) virtual economy focused on SEA.
“We are pooling players from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand and will continue to grow the P2E ecosystem within these countries. Having ESPL onboard with YGG SEA, this partnership will see both organisations expanding to over 300,000 users within 2023 in the region,” mentioned Ryan Kan, Marketing Manager for YGG SEA Malaysia.
Stephanie Kuan, ESPL’s Chief Operating Officer says “This relationship represents a unique opportunity for both ESPL and YGG SEA to establish bigger goals for the regional esports communities while keeping everyone engaged through content, partnerships, and tournaments. This way we can continue to grow and prosper together.”
“We believe the P2E system is geared towards providing opportunities for all parties involved, from developers to players allowing this venture to act as a driving force to gather all communities and benefit as a whole,” added Stephanie.
This partnership reflects the ongoing tournament project that we are working on involving Sky Mavis, the game publisher for Axie Infinity. Coming up real soon, we are thrilled to reveal Malaysia Infinity Nationals 2022, one of the biggest Axie Infinity tournaments for all NFT gaming enthusiasts in Malaysia.
