Set sail on an adventure like no other in The Black Book of Pirates
Apparat Gaming’s latest slot combines a classic book game with a thrilling Compass Hold & Respin feature that promises plenty of big win potential
Apparat Gaming, the developer of unique slots with a German accent, is allowing players to set sail across the big win seas in search of treasure in its latest pirate-themed release, The Black Book of Pirates.
The book is a treasure map and, along with the legendary skull compass of Tortuga, guides players and their crew of buccaneers into the hidden bays of Tortuga where untold riches can be discovered. The Caribbean backdrop is stunning, but the secret bays and their treasure are what really lure players in.
But they cannot find the bays without the book, and between its pages, bonus features can also be found. This includes Free Spins, which are also combined with the Compass Hold & Respin feature.
Three or more Book Scatter symbols trigger the Compass Hold & Respin bonus, with the Compass of Tortuga selecting the number of Free Games awarded as well as the additional Bonus symbols that will land during the subsequent Free Games.
At the start of each Free Game series, the Compass Hold & Respin feature gives players the chance to increase the number of Book Free Games and even Bonus symbols using the popular respin mechanic with up to three respins until a new Compass Symbol appears.
Once the feature fires into action, Bonus symbols are no longer evaluated along paylines, of which there are ten in total, but are instead stamped onto the entire reel and evaluated on all paylines with any gaps between paylines ignored.
The Black Book of Pirates is a high volatility 5×3 reel slot with an RTP of 96.14%. It promises to take players on a thrilling adventure with each spin and so long as they use the Black Book and the Compass of Tortuga, they will return to land with bounty beyond their wildest dreams.
The game has been certified for launch in core regulated markets including the UK, Denmark, the Netherlands, Greece, Bulgaria, Isle and Man, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and of course Germany.
Thomas Wendt, Co-Founder and Director at Apparat Gaming, said: “The Black Book of Pirates promises to take players on a thrilling journey across the high seas and towards the stunning Caribbean caves.
“Led by the Compass of Tortuga, they will discover great chances along the way including more Bonus symbols than in any classical book game, which will add to their loot and help them on their ultimate quest towards big win treasure.
“This is our take on the pirate theme and, as with all Apparat Gaming titles, also includes the trademark German engineering quality and artistic flair to ensure a superior player experience with each spin.”
