MediaTroopers Hires New Business Development Manager
Now is an exciting time for the prominent US digital marketing agency, MediaTroopers. The company announced recently that its team has expanded and signed a new Business Development Manager. Jonathan Sprung, from New Jersey, is set to take up the role with immediate effect.
MediaTroopers, one of the US’ leading independent publishers, holds a significant position in the regulated casino, sports betting, and poker markets. The company boasts a dedicated team of professionals specializing in technology, marketing, and customer service. Plus, its solid growth and expansion across the US has been made possible thanks to the company being one of the first marketing agencies to secure gambling licenses and enter new markets as soon as they launch.
What sets MediaTroopers apart is its unique and personalized approach to digital marketing, enabling the company to deliver customized strategies specifically designed for the US legal gambling industry. With his expertise and strategic insights, Jonathan is expected to play a pivotal role in driving the company’s expansion and fostering continued success. His presence will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and prosperity of MediaTroopers in the coming years.
Sprung’s new role will help amplify MediaTroopers’ diversity by driving fresh traffic to the agency – using several decades’ worth of combined experience to lead the way to creative new outlooks and business development. It will also assist MediaTroopers in developing new opportunities and helping the company grow through strategic planning.
When asked about MediaTroopers’ newest addition, the company’s CEO and Co-Founder Shmulik Segal said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Jonathan to the MediaTroopers team. His industry experience in the affiliation and iGaming markets is a welcome addition to the company.”
“Also, his expertise and management style will help the company grow alongside the ever-expanding legal US gambling market. More and more states are opening to the idea of regulated sports betting and casino gambling, so we are confident that Jonathan can help lead us forward at the forefront of business development as we launch in new states and legal gambling markets.” Segal continued.
Sprung is also set to kick off his new position at MediaTroopers with a bang. He will join the MediaTroopers and speak on behalf of the company at various conferences, including the upcoming OIGA Conference and Trade Show running from August 14 to 16, 2023.
Known as the “biggest little show in Indian Gaming”, the conference is expected to draw around 3,000 vendors, visitors, and speakers from all across the globe to downtown Tulsa to celebrate the iGaming industry. Sprung will take center stage and discuss his skills and expertise in the Player Acquisition and Affiliates: Defining Costs & Accentuating Advantages panel running from 10:30 to 11am on Tuesday, August 15.
The newest member of the MediaTroopers team brings with him a wealth of experience in the online sports betting and iGaming world. After graduating from Syracuse University in 2008 (whose notable alums include POTUS Joe Biden, among many other successful and influential individuals), Sprung went on to work for various top gambling operators including Pointsbet and Fubo Gaming. Further, he has experience across many different verticals within iGaming including DFS, poker, and sportsbetting.
Sprung’s all-encompassing expertise includes several years of experience in the affiliation business, where here gained valuable skills in driving traffic and revenue growth. Alongside gaining strong leadership and excellent communication qualifications, this previous experience will prove vital for MediaTroopers and its clients.
Segal concluded, “With Jonathan’s extensive experience in affiliation and business development, his addition to the team will propel MediaTroopers towards greater heights. His expertise will enable MediaTroopers to further establish itself as a dominant force in the industry. We eagerly anticipate continued growth and success, with Jonathan playing a vital role as a valuable member of our team.”
