Playson appoints Lars Kollind

Games provider brings in experienced industry executive
Casino software developer Playson has strengthened its commercial arm with the appointment of Lars Kollind as Business Development Manager.
Kollind, who will be based at Playson’s global headquarters in Malta, will be spearheading Playson’s strategic plans to continue expanding its operational portfolio, both vertically and horizontally.
He brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and a demonstrable track record of achievement in both the strategic and operational development of online casino companies, including Aspire Global and Global Gaming.
Ivan Farrugia, Managing Director at Playson said: “We’re delighted to start 2019 by announcing Lars’ appointment. His proven ability to work with a wide range of operators, as well as his deep understanding of global markets, makes him a perfect fit for us.
“I’m very confident that he will play a major role in helping us achieve our growth targets and contribute to our success for many years to come, as we look to take the business to the next level.”
Lars Kollind, Business Development Manager at Playson, added: “I am thrilled to join Playson, and I’m confident that my skills and experience, along with the quality of its portfolio, will enable me to achieve great results.
“Playson’s experience across multiple sectors, as well as its state-of-the-art slots give it great potential. I’m looking forward to expanding on their existing commercial achievements.”
The appointment caps a busy few months for Playson, who have recently acquired Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licensee status, opening the door for significant new collaboration opportunities between the game provider and MGA-approved gaming brands. The company has also applied for a Swedish Gaming license and expects it be issued shortly.
