PRAGMATIC PLAY GIVES BACK DURING THE HOLIDAYS WITH A €30,000 DONATION
The supplier makes a large contribution to key NGOs in Malta
On the 30th December 2020, Pragmatic Play, a leading content provider to the gaming industry, has donated €30,000 to three separate non-governmental organisations in Malta.
In response to a challenging year that has impacted all businesses and individuals on the island, the company has taken the initiative to care for those most vulnerable within society by contributing €10,000 to the St. Jeanne Antide Foundation, Malta Hospice Movement, and Good Shepherd Sisters.
All of the selected charitable corporations provide support for the most in need in the Maltese community, with focuses on family support, palliative care, and domestic violence victims.
Pragmatic Play has a large presence in Malta, with a key hub office located in Sliema, employing a strong team in the country, further demonstrating its commitment to the Mediterranean nation.
Lena Yasir, VP of Malta at Pragmatic Play, said: “2020 has been a difficult year for everyone and we are determined to give something back to the community, in particular those individuals that have been hit hardest in recent times.
“The organisations we have chosen to donate these sums to are worthy recipients, all of which contribute immeasurably and we’re very pleased to be in a position to help them in an even greater period of need. Pragmatic Play is a proud member of Malta’s igaming community and looks forward to supporting these causes as they look to assist the nation during these difficult times.”
