Philippines’ GGR could touch €20bn this year-end

Andrea Domingo, chairperson of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), predicts that the country’s gaming gross revenue (GGR) will cross the €20 billion mark by the end of this month.
Domingo states that the figure would mean a 14 per cent rise compared to 2017, and a 3.2 per cent increase over the estimated forecast.
“Our performance this year is better than expected for both the private integrated resorts and the Pagcor-owned casinos,” said Domingo, and predicted that GGR would experience another increase to €23 billion by 2019, another 13 per cent from 2018.
