Wakayama Prefectural Government Endorses IR Business – Connect Seminar on 19 February 2019

The Wakayama Prefectural government has officially endorsed the upcoming IR Business – Connect Seminar being held on 19 February 2019 at the Daiwa Roynet Wakayama. This marks the events inauguration as an official event by Wakayama Prefecture and will be held in conjunction with the Wakayama Chamber of Commerce.
The event will bring together IR operators, local academics, chamber leadership and chamber members. The goal of the event is to educate the local business sector on the IR industry, while also promoting the benefits to the local private sector.
It will be held to an expected audience of 200 local business leaders and regional influencers in the private sector. Integrated Resort Operators who are focused on potential opportunities in regional locations such as Wakayama are expected speakers, including Solaire Resort & Casino.
Wakayama Chamber of Commerce officials stated: “The event provides massive opportunities to connect and exchange opinions regarding the economic and other impacts that will be brought by the IR industry to the Wakayama local business community. The overall economic impact will greatly enhanced with the support and involvement of the local private sector. We’re looking forward to seeing many local business community members as event delegates.”
The event is the first in the region designed to connect operators with local business leaders in and around Wakayama Prefecture.
