iGaming Group Appoints Florian Güde as Head of Sales
The iGaming Group has appointed former mybet CMO Florian Güde as its new Head of Sales.
The new appointees’ main responsibility will be to expand iGaming Group – a new Affiliate Leaders member – beyond the German market and into other foreign jurisdictions.
Prior to joining the iGaming Group, Güde worked as CMO for mybet from 2010 to 2018, focusing on initiatives in Africa, South America and Germany over the previous two years, and began his gaming career 16 years ago in London with Gamebookers.com.
“I am thrilled to join iGaming Group. On the numerous occasions I worked with iGaming I was always impressed by their passion and focus. With my operations background, I also hope to bring an additional angle to the company,” Güde said.
Güde’s international history, according to Andreas Ditsche, CEO of iGaming Group, will be a “great asset” and “play an important position” in bringing the company’s worldwide expansion aspirations forward.
“Florian brings 15 years of industry experience, leadership skills and the passion we are looking for. Getting Florian on board is an important step on our expansion path,” Ditsche said.
“We are currently strengthening our team, running a recruitment campaign to hire an additional 100 team members. Bringing someone on board with Florian’s experience is crucial and will help us to change our international footprint.
He brings the right strategic and analytic mindset needed to push our expansion forward. I am sure that he will blend smoothly into our professional highly motivated team.”

BetBlocker named Clarion Gaming charity partner for ICE, iGB Affiliate and iGB L!VE
BetBlocker the ground-breaking initiative which provides a free, anonymous, accessible, and robust gambling-blocking tool that empowers users to control their gambling behaviour, has been named Clarion Gaming’s charity partner for 2024/25.
The Award will cover the first editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate to be held in Barcelona as well as the July 2025 edition of iGB L!VE, the first to take place at ExCeL London.

Focussing on how BetBlocker plans to activate its presence Pedro Romero explained: “At the three sector-leading events we intend to host engaging sessions on safer gambling to highlight BetBlocker’s role and its impact, demonstrate the functionality and effectiveness of the BetBlocker tool through live demos from our stand and facilitate networking opportunities with stakeholders to explore collaborations and funding opportunities.

Blackstone to List Spain’s Cirsa Shares in Madrid Early 2025
Private equity investor Blackstone plans to list shares of Spanish gambling company Cirsa in the first half of 2025 in an initial public offering.
Blackstone would raise between 700 million euros and 1 billion euros,floating between 20% and 25% of Cirsa.
The investment fund has hired Barclays, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley as global coordinators, according to reports.
Cirsa, Blackstone, Barclays, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Blackstone acquired Cirsa, which operates casinos and betting shops across Spain and Latin America, in 2018 for an undisclosed sum.
In 2021, a Spanish newspaper reported Blackstone was considering a Cirsa IPO in a deal that would value the company at around $3.4 billion.
