‘Fnatic and Jack Link’s launch the Beef Mode Challenge!
Fnatic has announced a campaign with Jack Link’s for The Beef Mode Challenge: a custom made, Jack Link’s branded CS:GO map which allows players to compete against the clock and themselves moving seamlessly through 7 of CS:GO’s most famous maps.
The time-trial based map tests players’ abilities in movement and accuracy against an army of bots competing for the quickest time. Easter eggs are scattered throughout, and those players who can find and shoot all 8 letters to form the words BEEFMODE open up a mini game within the scoreboard hall.
A public tournament hosted on esportal. com allows the CS:GO community to compete against each other and Fnatic pro players in both weekly and a month-long events giving them the chance to win Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, Fnatic gaming gear, and custom Fnatic apparel.
Jack Link’s launched their European-wide Beef Mode campaign in March 2021. In addition to their classic marketing channels, Jack Link’s have brought this to life with Fnatic through engaging content pieces, social media competitions and campaigns, as well as the recent Moonryde Invitational Warzone tournament.
Said Neil Walker, Fnatic Partnerships Manager: “It’s fantastic to see Jack Link’s now bravely taking on custom-built map campaigns, and doing so inside CS:GO helps us reaffirm both our commitments to one of esports’ favourite titles. The map truly brings Beef Mode to life in a way that is sometimes harder to achieve with ATL initiatives only, and allows our fans to really feel it for themselves.”
Said Inka Weber, Marketing Manager Jack Link’s EMEA: “Allowing CS:GO fans to fully experience our brand’s theme “Beef Mode” – which can be described as the powered up state that gamers enter when performing at their very best – in the form of a custom-made map is an exciting next step in our engagement with players and fans in the gaming world.”
The custom map is released alongside engaging content showcasing Fnatic’s famous CS:GO team learning their way through it for the first time. This is the first time the new Fnatic roster has been seen together since Alex and Mezzi joined the team in place of JW and Golden weeks earlier, and since Fnatic announced their new CS:GO academy.
