White Hat Gaming delivers payments innovation for players with TrueLayer’s PayDirect

TrueLayer, Europe’s leading open banking platform, today announces its collaboration with state-of-the-art iGaming platform White Hat Gaming, implementing the PayDirect solution as part of its strategy to deliver an enhanced player experience for clients.
While card-based options remain the most popular payment method, they create avoidable friction along the player journey, affecting retention rates and generating avoidable costs due to higher failure rates and chargebacks compared to open banking.
With PayDirect, White Hat Gaming gains a digitally-native payment option that delivers significant benefits, including:
Increased operator revenue through higher conversion: payment failures are much lower with PayDirect than cards (on average cards fail up to 15% of the time vs 3.5% with PayDirect). This means more efficient deposits and less time spent managing failed payments that can lead to customer churn.
Increased customer retention: Card-based deposits can take a day to settle, while withdrawals can take longer. PayDirect increases retention and reduces the number of support calls by customers querying payments, by offering players instant deposits and withdrawals.
Reduced risk and fraud: With PayDirect account ownership and identity authentication are handled by the customer’s bank with no credential sharing or password storage.
White label payments: using the operator brand and the player’s chosen bank, rather than a third party brand, increases trust as the operator owns the end-to-end payment process.
Lower operating costs: PayDirect reduces cost by automating manual processes such as payment reconciliation. Winnings are issued to the same bank account the player used to make the deposit, removing opportunities for human error compared to manual bank transfers, and reducing customer support cases on lost payments.
“Secure, seamless and instant payments are becoming increasingly important to operators. TrueLayer’s PayDirect adds another dimension to enhancing the player experience by also delivering instant withdrawals – and what’s better than not having to wait to access your winnings?” commented Eric Sheridan, Head of Payments at White Hat Gaming.
Roberto Villani, Head of iGaming at TrueLayer, added: “Open banking is creating a huge opportunity for the industry to embrace innovation and operators are recognising the role it can play in increasing brand trust and player retention. TrueLayer is leading the way as a positive force in the industry with PayDirect, enabling players to instantly fund their accounts and receive instant payouts. We’re delighted to be working with White Hat Gaming to create a better player experience while also delivering significant operational efficiencies.”

Yggdrasil creates a buzz with new launch Bugs Money

Yggdrasil and Reflex Gaming are transporting players to a world where bees make more than honey in the latest YG Masters creation, Bugs Money.
Hailed by Reflex Gaming as one of their most impactful slots to date, the game presents a wide array of vibrant bees, bugs, insects, flowers and fruits. The colourful art and design is coupled with thrilling features: Free Spins and Glow Wilds reel modifiers.
The Free Spins feature is triggered when three or more scatter symbols land and offers a choice of 3, 7, 10, or 15 Free Spins with a max win multiplier of 50x, 20x, 10x and 5x respectively. This allows players to directly set the volatility of the Free Spins feature and encourages user participation.
During the bonus, the majestic Queen Bee symbol can land on the centre reel, increasing the multiplier by 10x, up to a huge maximum of 500x.
When the Glow Wilds reel modifier bonus is triggered during the base game or Free Spins, the setting changes from day into night. While the reels are spinning, glow bugs land on random reel positions to add wild symbols. The Queen Bee can also make an appearance during the Glow Wilds bonus to deliver insane wins.
Part of the YG Masters portfolio, Bugs Money is Reflex Gaming’s 13th title as part of the initiative. The offering is powered by GATI, Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to consistently produce cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.
Stuart McCarthy, Head of Product & Programs at Yggdrasil, said: “Bugs Money is a playful, fun and vibrant title with straightforward yet engaging game play.
