Great Response at the Third NOVOMATIC Company Day

The pandemic has once again shown that health is the highest good, and workplace health promotion brings numerous benefits for employees and employers alike. NOVOMATIC therefore recently invited all employees at its headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen to a Health Day. The anticipation for the already third NOVO-Company Day was great, as due to COVID hardly any events could be held lately.
Ryszard Presch and Johannes Gratzl, the Executive Board of NOVOMATIC AG, welcomed the employees in bright sunshine on the premises of the group headquarters: âThe last two years were very challenging for all of us. We have learned once again that above all our health is the most important thing. With the NOVO Company Day, we would like to sincerely thank all our employees for their extraordinary commitment and at the same time further promote awareness of health and safety in the workplace. After all, if the employees are doing well, the company is doing well too.â
The correlation between employee health and corporate success was also emphasised by the mayor of the town of Gumpoldskirchen, Ferdinand Köck: âHealthy and satisfied employees are the added value of a company. Everyone benefits from the resulting corporate success, including, of course, the community of Gumpoldskirchen.â
After the ceremonial opening, a wide range of offers were open to the employees â from lectures on stress reduction or burnout prevention to numerous outdoor and indoor stations such as spine screening, running shoe analysis, a first aid refresher, fire extinguishing training to sports stations such as basketball or an e-bike test station and an extensive health street. A raffle with many great prizes rounded off the programme.
The enthusiastic feedback from the employees confirmed the success of the NOVO-Company Day and reinforces NOVOMATICâs intention to continue this event tradition in the future.

Valley View Casino & Hotel Earns Prestigious Top Workplaces 2023 Award and Two National Awards by The San Diego Union-Tribune

Valley View Casino & Hotel in San Diego has received the Annual Top Workplaces Award and national honours for âEmployee Appreciationâ and âProfessional Developmentâ, as presented by The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Continent 8 Appoints Khaled El-Din as Regional Sales Director

Continent 8 Technologies, the award-winning provider of managed hosting, connectivity, cloud and security solutions to the global online gambling industry, continues to drive growth with the appointment of Khaled El-Din as Regional Sales Director.
Based in the UK, Khaled joins Continent 8âs global sales team as it continues to enter new regulated markets around the world, a move that is increasing its addressable audience and customer base.
Khaled is a highly experienced sales specialist and joins the global IT business from swcomms where he was Sales Manager. He has also held sales roles at Solar Communications and Chartered Developments. His knowledge of infrastructure, connectivity and hosting solutions, plus his experience working with large organisations to determine their needs and creating bespoke solutions for them, makes him perfectly suited to Continent 8.
In his new role, he has been tasked with managing and amplifying existing customer relationships, as well as supporting the overall sales division with driving new revenue growth across core regulated markets including Europe and the Americas.
