Kings Entertainment Group has announced that the Company has engaged Native Ads Inc to execute a comprehensive digital media marketing campaign for Kings Entertainment, supporting ongoing efforts to increase awareness.

Casumo has gone live in the Canadian province of Ontario. Casumo players can now play a range of slots, table and card games, as well as live dealer games, including gold bar roulette, live roulette, live blackjack, live baccarat, live texas hold ’em and live wheel games; from home or on the go, by downloading the Casumo mobile app on their iOS or Android devices.

Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI) jointly announced that the casino in Mount Pleasant Michigan has begun installing the QCI Platform. The Unified Gaming Platform aligns marketing, player development and casino operations around one view of the casino’s data.

Conajzar, the gambling authority in Paraguay, has announced that it has received seven applications for its tender to run the country’s planned national sports betting franchise. The regulator has run a nationwide advertising campaign to promote the tender among both the public and businesses.

Caesars Entertainment and NYRA Bets, the official online wagering platform of the New York Racing Association (NYRA), announced that the horse racing account wagering app, Caesars Racebook, is now available on Android and desktop.

Vanta will be collaborating with educational organisation Esposure this December to host their Texas Esports League state championship. The event will be the culmination of Vanta’s Texas Esports League season that began earlier this fall.

Isleta Casino & Resort recently debuted the world’s first hybrid digital roulette table manufactured by Interblock. This completely new and innovative Dual Roulette Table features two live, interconnected color-coded roulette wheels, making the game more enhanced and more profitable than the classic version.

Partnerships

Stephen Crystal, the founder and CEO of SCCG Management, has announced a strategic investment partnership with Bettor Fantasy, providing capital investment, business development and strategic advisory services for the fantasy sports betting platform.

Table Trac has announced that it will provide its CasinoTrac Casino Management System to the Golden Buffalo Casino and Motel located in Lower Brule, South Dakota.

The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission has voted unanimously to approve new partners in the racetrack and equestrian center set to be built in eastern Kentucky by Revolutionary Racing. The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will serve as a financial partner to Revolutionary Racing Kentucky, while Keeneland Association will also be a partner.

Acquisitions

Netflix has announced that it has acquired Spry Fox, an independent gaming studio that focuses on developing original games with a feel good tone. Spry Fox is now Netflix’s sixth in-house games studio.

Boyd Gaming Corporation announced that it has closed on its previously announced acquisition of Pala Interactive LLC and its subsidiaries for total net cash consideration of $170 million.

Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has completed its acquisition of all Peninsula Pacific Entertainment (P2E) assets for $2.75bn.

Appointment

Brazilian esports organisation LOUD has appointed Brazilian influencer Iran ‘Luva de Pedreiro’ Ferreira as its brand ambassador.

Novibet has entered the Mexican market. This is Novibet’s first move outside of Europe, and it is a key step in its strategic expansion plan as it seeks to enter new markets including Latin America and North America.

Greco has registered as a vendor in New Jersey, where it plans to start its US operations in enhancing risk management for online casinos and iGaming operators. Resorts Digital Gaming has already announced it has an agreement in place with Greco, which the New-Jersey-based arm of Resorts Casino and hotel hopes will “herald a wider shift in the local industry, worth $3.12 billion to the state economy”.

The ACMA has requested that Australian internet service providers (ISPs) block more illegal offshore gambling websites, after investigations found 9 services to be operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. The latest sites blocked include Winning Days, 21Bit Casino, Oshi Casino, Lucky Elf Casino, NeoSpin, Lets Lucky, Boho Casino, Ripper Casino and BC.Game.

Scientific Games has announced that it will provide the company’s latest WAVE point-of-sale technology across Atlantic Lottery’s retailer network of 3000 locations in the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador.

PointsBet Holdings, the leader in live betting, announced the company has officially unveiled its market-leading mobile app and digital sports betting product in the state of Maryland.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has launched a constitutional challenge against iGaming Ontario and the Attorney General of Ontario over the provincial government’s unilateral changes to the way gaming is managed. It says the changes are illegal and unconstitutional and is contesting Ontario’s re-interpretation of Section 207 (1) of the Criminal Code, which permits provinces to regulate single-event sports betting.

AOC will outfit and sell product inside Esports Arena locations within 18 Walmart stores nationwide starting November 2022. Through the end of 2023, 50 stores are expected to be added to its roster.

Vanta has partnered with Ultimate Gaming Championship (UGC). With Vanta as the official coaching partner of the UGC, the two organisations will work closely to provide coaching and development opportunities to organisations and gamers competing on UGC’s platform.

Appointments

Affinity Interactive announced the appointment of Andrei Scrivens as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2023. Mr. Scrivens has served as AI’s Chief Financial Officer since 2019 and succeeds Mary Beth Higgins, who is retiring after a distinguished 25-year career in gaming. Higgins will stay on in an advisory role through June 2023 to help ensure a smooth transition.

ClutchBet has appointed Joshua Auriemma as its new Vice President of Engineering. An industry-leader in building and scaling sportsbooks, Josh joins Clutchbet from Penn Interactive, the online subsidiary of Penn Entertainment.

Great Canadian Entertainment has announced that Anthony ‘Tony’ Rodio, Chief Executive Officer, is retiring as CEO and director and the Board of Directors has appointed Matthew Anfinson, previously the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, to succeed Rodio as CEO.
