Paris Major Becomes the First TikTok Streamed CSGO Event
BLAST and TikTok have entered into a partnership and delivered live coverage of the momentous and final Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) Major event in Paris. Thus, Paris Major has become the First TikTok Streamed CSGO Event.
The partnership was made to connect esports and gaming enthusiasts by offering an immersive experience through integrated features and tailor-made content on the immensely popular short-form content platform.
âThe esports world will have their eyes firmly fixed on Paris this week when the worldâs best Counter-Strike teams descend onto the French capital to compete for the coveted last ever CS:GO Major trophy. Teaming up with TikTok will allow us to bring fans even closer to the experience with a number of integrated features and exclusive content on the platform,â Robbie Douek, CEO of BLAST, said last week.

Today, the wait is over. After a year full of intense competition through national and regional qualifiers, dedicated training, and countless hours of preparation, the 16th World Esports Championship (WEC24) has officially kicked off! Athletes from around the world have gathered at the SEF Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to compete for the title of World Esports Champion – a title thatâs been months, if not years, in the making.

Running from November 11-19, WEC24 will see top-tier competition across Counter-Strike 2, DOTA2, PUBG Mobile, and Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB). Every athlete and team, national champions in their own right, will be bringing their A-game in hopes of earning the World Esports Championship title.

VSPO, the largest esports company in Asia, is pleased to announce that it has officially been rebranded Hero Esports, aligning with its domestic brand and, in doing so, supporting its international growth strategy.
