SOFTSWISS Highlights iGaming Areas in Which AI Outperforms Humans
Reading Time: 3 minutes

SOFTSWISS, a cutting-edge iGaming software provider, shares its experience in implementing artificial intelligence (AI) tools into its everyday practice. AI has proven to be a valuable asset, revolutionising real-time data analysis, player management, content personalisation, and design.

Real-Time Data Analysis

The  Anti-Fraud team within SOFTSWISS’ Managed Services played a pivotal role in saving operators €16m+ in 2022 by processing 61,810 requests. It is hardly possible to analyse such data volumes by hand. That is where AI stepped in.

The SOFTSWISS Research and Development (R&D) department developed the Anti-Fraud Service, a real-time data analysis tool leveraging machine learning models to detect suspicious cases and bring them to the attention of the Anti-Fraud team experts. Additionally, its recent updates have introduced an enhanced ability to assess the quality of affiliate traffic to ensure a secure and trustworthy iGaming environment.

Another valuable tool created by the SOFTSWISS R&D department is Business Metrics Monitoring and Management (BM3), a machine learning-driven system that analyses key business indicators and identifies deviations on a near-real-time basis. BM3 helps identify potential issues more efficiently than traditional rule-based solutions, enabling prompt detection and troubleshooting to prevent negative impacts on client business and avoid financial losses.

Vitali Matsukevich, COO at SOFTSWISS, comments: “AI is an effective tool for analysing large data sets in real-time, but the final decision should still be left to an expert. With all speed and efficiency, you can’t put all the responsibility for business decisions on the artificial intelligence.”

Player Management & Content Personalisation

Another area where AI has demonstrated its efficiency is player management. SOFTSWISS’ R&D department developed a service called DOSSIER, which analyses player behaviour to enhance gaming experience. DOSSIER predicts future actions, enabling operators to make timely and tailored offers.

For example, the system identifies players with high potential lifetime value (LTV) and allows operators to offer them special bonuses or assign individual managers. Such segmentation can be used across various scenarios.

Likewise, AI is used in the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook to personalise content for players. AI-based tools enable the display of events according to player preferences. The system collects real-time data on player activity and then delivers the most relevant content, including suggested events particularly appealing to specific players or similar player groups.

Vitali Matsukevich adds: “When it comes to players, this approach helps reduce the time between bets and increase their amounts and player LTV.  When players easily find exciting events tailored to their preferences, their gaming experience becomes more enjoyable, positively impacting overall business performance.”

iGaming Brand Design

Design is one of the trendiest areas where AI is making significant strides, and the iGaming industry is no exception. At SOFTSWISS’ WebStudio, the implementation of generative artificial intelligence has become a game-changer. The WebStudio primary goal is to deliver projects that not only meet but exceed client expectations, offering exceptional service at every step of the way.

AI acts as a valuable ally in this endeavour, particularly during the initial layout creation phase. Through carefully crafted queries, AI generates a diverse range of images aligned with specified parameters, offering various compositions, details, and content, while preserving the essence of the original concept, in just minutes. Such images then serve as a basis for further refinement by illustrators and animators, resulting in multiple templates shared with clients for additional development and finalisation.

Vitali Matsukevich summarises AI usage for the industry: “Being innovators in the field, we continuously explore and test emerging tools, adapting worldwide trends to enhance the iGaming experience. The enormous potential of AI lies in its ability to optimise repetitive tasks and handle big data, improving overall efficiency. Nevertheless, we exercise prudence when integrating AI into decision-making processes, recognising that unforeseen outcomes could result in financial losses. Striking the right balance between leveraging AI’s capabilities and maintaining human oversight is crucial to ensuring sustained growth and success.”

GAMOMAT, one of the leading independent software developers for slot games, has won double gold for Best Game Development Company Central Europe and Game Retro-Style for Fancy Fruits Deluxe.

The first gold came in SlotCatalog’s Award for Best Game Development Company Central Europe. Each of the nominees was judged solely on analytical data rather than subjective views. This award was focused on games being promoted in casino lobbies as it provides a clear, quantifiable measure of a title’s popularity and reach. Being named Best Game Development Company Central Europe crowns a highly successful period for the business.

A second gold arrived thanks to Fancy Fruits Deluxe coming top in the Game Retro-Style category. It was the first release as part of the Deluxe Series, which was introduced to celebrate GAMOMAT’s 15th anniversary last year. Fancy Fruits Deluxe is the advanced rendition of the much-loved classic Fancy Fruits. It retains the classic appeal and simple mechanics that made the original a land-based and online success, while bringing a fresh, modern edge with enhanced graphics and a user-friendly interface.

The CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards is an annual celebration of excellence and innovation in the iGaming industry, marking significant contributions from developers across the world.

Dietmar Hermjohannes, Managing Director at GAMOMAT Development GmbH said: “What a great honour! Winning double gold at the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards is an astonishing achievement for all involved at GAMOMAT. Winning Best Game Development Company Central Europe is extra special, as the award is judged solely on empirical evidence that shows the vast reach and popularity our games have across the industry. Belatra breaks out Tony Gambler slot
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Belatra Games, the specialist online slots developer, has released its latest slots caper, Tony Gambler. This escapade is set within a 5×4 framework and welcomes players along on a cracking casino heist.

Tony Gambler instantly stands out thanks to the Wild Big Safe symbol, which expands to fill entire reels, increasing its multiplier with each offset. Should more than one Wild Big Safe symbol appear, their multipliers combine for a mega payout. The Wild symbol has the potential to complete the entire reel and increase its multiplier value by one with each offset. If more than one Wild symbol appears, the winning total on the line is multiplied by the sum of all the Wild Multipliers.

Another exciting part of the game is the Portal. When a Portal appears on the reels, it means Tony can break into the casino’s safe. As he safely navigates the security beams, the Portal Multiplier will grow in value, potentially hitting 100. Should Tony evade security completely then the multiplier will be added to the Global Multiplier to boost winnings even further.

Eight Free Games will be sprung if players find three scatter symbols on the first, third, and fifth reels. Once inside this part of the game, the Global Multiplier begins with one and increases with successful Portal robberies. Two Scatters in Free Games will award an extra spin, with a maximum of 100. Finding three Scatters in Free Games will reward another three Free Games, also capped at 100. Additional scatters during Free Games will continue the round.

Tony Gambler also includes an enticing Hold-and-Win Bonus. Six or more credit symbols here will activate the bonus where players can sneak away with extra credits and extra bonuses. The bonus reels have credit symbols, donors, collectors, and empty symbols, each contributing to the final payout. This bonus round will run while new credit symbols, donors, or collectors are found, or until all reels are completed. Players pick up one of the Extra Bonuses if the four different credit symbols, Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, have been completed.

Sergey Chernyavski, Belatra Games’ CCO, said: “Tony Gambler is the coolest cat in town and players will love this fun adventure that is jam-packed with engaging features. It would be daylight robbery not to try this game in an attempt to pull off the heist of the century.”
