NeoGames S.A subsidiary Wizard Games is getting dressed up for a big Mexican celebration in its latest slot, Carnival of Calacas.

The provider invites players to join the festivities, with a colourful 5×3 grid full of traditional Día de los Muertos symbols.

Landing three or more baskets on any spin will activate the Ofrenda Bonus, offering the chance to pick a basket and reveal a multiplier from 2x-500x. The more baskets that land, the higher the potential for a big prize.

The Catrina Bonus rewards big payouts when three or more Catrina symbols appear, awarding a single spin of a bonus wheel to grant an instant multiplier between 50x-500x.

Alternatively, landing three Catrin icons on the reels will unlock the El Camino De Los Muertos feature, where players can progress their way along the winners’ path to the top prize of a 1,000x multiplier.

Carnival of Calacas comes during the run-up to November’s Día de los Muertos, illustrating the joyousness and vibrance of the Mexican holiday.

The release is the latest to enter Wizard Games’ expansive portfolio, following recent titles Wild West Ways and Captains of the Coast. The provider’s collection of innovative titles now exceeds 140 games, with more scheduled for release throughout the remainder of 2023.

Leading sportsbook goes live with full multi-product offering across key market

The company, which already has an office in Athens, has secured a licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission, boosting Altenar’s presence in the country and adding a Greek licence to its already comprehensive portfolio.

Altenar’s expertise reaches more than 50 countries where gambling is legalised and the Greek licence, which is valid for seven years, paves the way for the company to offer its services in a new jurisdiction.

Since the introduction of the new regulatory framework, online betting in Greece has emerged as a success story, with the country undergoing robust growth, as market data shows tax revenues expected to reach €540,000,000 this year and the creation of numerous job opportunities.
