Dizplai, a leading media experience company, trusted by global sports rights holders, brands, betting companies and broadcasters to transform passive audiences into engaged communities, has today announced the 100% acquisition of PickGuru, the most customer-centric, free to play, gaming platform on the market.

PickGuru provides smart solutions that drive audience and commercial objectives for today’s multi-channel bookmakers, publishers and rights holders. PickGuru’s solutions enable partners to quickly and easily create predictor and fantasy games for their platforms, and drive both deeper engagement and commercialisation opportunities.

The acquisition brings together two innovators in the fan engagement space, creating the new division, Dizplai Gaming. This division will expand Dizplai’s end-to-end offering and drive even greater experiences for fans across both first and second screens.

Following the acquisition of PickGuru, Dizplai announced two new senior roles, in line with the growth of the business, with Paul Watkins as Chief Financial Officer and Paul Cobley as Director of Gaming.

DeepCI has rebranded to PartnerMatrix Intelligence to create an all-in-one affiliate management and data tracking powerhouse under the PartnerMatrix brand.

PartnerMatrix will combine the strengths of PartnerMatrix Intelligence’s advanced data tracking and analysis capabilities with its leading affiliate and agent management systems, providing both affiliate and operator customers with a superior, all-in-one solution.

Following its integration earlier this year, customers can access PartnerMatrix Intelligence both within the PartnerMatrix platform and as a standalone option.

Lewis Civin, co-founder of DeepCI will become Chief Product Officer for PartnerMatrix working alongside existing PartnerMatrix CEO, Vahe Khalatyan.

Gaming Innovation Group signs heads-of-terms to acquire Titan – strengthening SEO and content services

Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (“GiG”), a leader in digital marketing and media within the online gaming sector, has signed a head-of-terms agreement to acquire Titan Inc. Limited (“Titan”), a premier supplier of SEO and content services. This strategic acquisition will significantly enhance Gaming Innovation Group’s operational efficiency and market position.

The anticipated cost savings and operational efficiencies underscore the strategic rationale for this acquisition. For operations moved to Titan, GiG Media’s SEO and content costs are expected to be reduced by up to 50%. Furthermore, Titan’s expertise will enhance the quality and turnaround time of GiG Media content and SEO services, improving revenue in the GiG Media publishing business.

Jonas Warrer, CEO of GiG, said, “This acquisition highlights our ambition to continue optimising our value chain, revenue and EBITDA margin. In 2023, Titan Inc. Limited reported revenues of MEUR 3.30 with an EBITDA of MEUR 0.72. The acquisition comes with a term sheet valued at MEUR 3.2, structured with MEUR 1.0 to be paid at closing, MEUR 1.0 after twelve months, and MEUR 1.2 after twentyfour months. A final agreement is subject to due diligence and board approval, and closing is expected in July 2024.
