Andreas Ternström Steps Down as Scout Gaming Group CEO

Andreas Ternström has stepped down from being CEO of the Scout Gaming Group after six years in the top job.

The company has appointed CFO Niklas Jönsson as the acting CEO during the time for the recruitment of a new CEO.

Scout Gaming Group’s newly appointed Chairman of the Board Niklas Braathen said: “I want on behalf of the company give a big appreciation to Andreas who has put in a very great commitment to creating Scout Gaming’s organization and not least the product that Scout Gaming today possesses. Headwinds have been blowing for a while for the company, and a major reorganization and transformation of how the company’s operations are conducted is now ahead of us, we have therefore agreed that it is appropriate for Andreas to leave the company. He will be available to the company in any matters, which is important, and provides security for the company’s board, management and organization.”

“I would like to thank all partners, coworkers, board and owners for this time. I would like to give a special thanks to all talented and courageous employees in Ukraine who are valiantly working despite the war and two years of pandemic. I will remain as a shareholder and will be close to the company. I hope that I also in the future can be of use for the company and its development,” Andreas Ternström said.

AstroPay has appointed Fayyaz Ansari as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Having worked in finance for over 20 years, Fayyaz brings with him a deep understanding of the global payments industry. Prior to joining AstroPay, he was working at Skrill, NETELLER & Income Access (part of Paysafe Group Plc) as CFO of their digital wallet division and board member of their regulated entities. He will be based in the UK with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of AstroPay’s global financial management and activities.

Fayyaz’s extensive leadership experience includes controllership, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax restructuring, corporate finance, performance management, M&A and strategic planning. He also managed other aspects of the finance function which includes banking, investments, financial systems and was involved in fundraising as well as coordinating efforts for an exit via a trade sale/ IPO.
