Pinnacle Solution, the B2B arm of pioneer sportsbook Pinnacle, has – as of March 8, 2022 – been licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) to provide its services to sportsbook partners within its jurisdiction.
The highly-regarded MGA licence, along with a new esports product which is to be showcased for the first time at ICE 2022, will underpin the supplier’s ambitious growth plans for H2 2022 and beyond, with the company looking to unlock partnerships in a number of new territories, with particular focus across Europe and Latin America.
Recognition by the MGA is the latest milestone for the risk management experts, having grown exponentially in recent years by adapting Pinnacle’s B2C sports betting and trading heritage into an award-winning, revenue-driving B2B product which now services more than 50 operators globally.
The granting of the licence follows a thorough process which placed Pinnacle Solution’s technology and working processes under intense scrutiny, with the end results showing that the sportsbook supplier was operating transparently, within EU rules, and with no technical changes required for approval.
Pinnacle Solution will now look to use its flexible product suite, which will include its recently-expanded esports offering, to target new partners looking for an accredited supplier capable of extracting the full potential out of their sports betting brands.
Paris Smith, CEO of Pinnacle, commented: “We’ve made great efforts to ensure our trading practices and technology stack can be scaled quickly, openly, and transparently in order to give our sportsbook partners a first-class service that delivers the enhanced hold and revenue performance they’re after.
“Obtaining the MGA licence is proof that our expert teams have developed products that meet the market’s demands and high standards, and we’re now looking forward to servicing new partners in more markets with the ultimate sports betting, esports, and risk management solutions.”
Pinnacle Solution will be exhibiting at ICE 2022, from April 12–14, showcasing its iFrame Solution, Risk Management API, and award-winning esports product to all interested parties looking to boost their sportsbook’s performance.

BetComply, iGaming’s most trusted technical and regulatory compliance firm, has partnered with iCasino, securing a Dutch licence for their recently-launched Hard Rock Casino brand.
HardRockCasino.nl operated by iCasino b.v. under a brand licence agreement announced its Netherlands launch at the start of July, having worked closely with BetComply to secure a licence from the Dutch regulator de Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) in May.
The brand will continue to work with BetComply to ensure on-going compliance within the Netherlands framework.
iCasino CEO Paul Strikers said: “It’s hugely exciting to bring such a globally renowned brand to the Dutch market for the first time. We understood early on in the process that operator compliance needed to be one of our highest priorities, and that’s why we enlisted the help of BetComply and its unparalleled expertise in the Netherlands. We thank Mike and the team for their tireless and rigorous support on our successful licence application, and look forward to building upon this partnership in the future; the first step being the application for a sports betting licence.”
BetComply Chief Compliance Officer Mike de Graaff added: “The Netherlands market has attracted some huge international brands over recent months, underlining the opportunities on offer for those who build a deep understanding of their regulatory obligations. We’ve already helped more than a third of all licence holders in the country, and with the KSA taking a proactive approach across all elements of regulation, we’ll continue to support our partners, including iCasino, as market conditions evolve.”
With recent high-profile reports of serious misconduct within the iGaming compliance space, it has never been more important to pick a trusted and reliable partner, both in the Netherlands and elsewhere.
