Macau Govt Appoints Lio Chi Chong as New Deputy Director of DICJ

The Macau government has appointed Lio Chi Chong as the new deputy director of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ). The appointment follows the departure of Leong Man Ion for personal reasons.
Chi Chong joined the gaming regulator last August as a senior technician in the legal area. He previously served as a criminal investigator for the city’s Judiciary Police until 2008. He has also worked in different legal and public relations areas at the Office for the Development of the Energy Sector (GDSE) and the Office for Personal Data Protection (GPDP).
“Chi Chong possesses the professional capacity, work experience and academic background to assume a leadership role at the gaming regulator,” Adriano Marques Ho, Director of DICJ, said.
