The knights of Relax Gaming return in Templar Tumble 2 Dream Drop
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Relax Gaming is inviting brave knights to take up arms and prepare for a crusade in its latest slot release Templar Tumble 2 Dream Drop.

In the base game of this sequel to the popular Templar Tumble, symbols and blockers can be framed in red or blue, featuring divine multipliers and mystery symbols respectively. Every five marked symbols destroyed in the 6×7 slot will activate deeper levels of the feature, contributing to a collection meter that is transferred to Free Spins.

The Win Multiplier and Mystery Reveal features are awarded at the end of every spin during Free Spins and the collection meter does not reset between spins.

However, true honour is gained in the Jackpot Spin, which is randomly triggered and can lead to spoils beyond the player’s imagination.

When activated, the Jackpot Spin is played as an additional spin, with only stone blockers and Dream Drop symbols on the reels. The Dream Drop Bonus is triggered when landing six DD symbols in the randomly triggered Jackpot Spin.

Spins are played until one of the reels is filled by DD symbols, and the corresponding jackpot is won. The Holy Grail is hitting one of the five jackpots: Rapid, Midi, Maxi, Major or Mega.

Simon Hammon, CEO of Relax Gaming, said: “Our Tumble series has been an exceptionally strong performer, with Templar Tumble being a resolute fan favourite. Its sequel is set to continue in the same vein but with the added excitement of our Dream Drop jackpots to keep players engaged.

“Templar Tumble 2 Dream Drop has all the gameplay allure of its predecessors with a stylish new theme and features that fans old and new are going to love.”

International Game Technology PLC and Everi Holdings Inc. announced their entry into definitive agreements pursuant to which IGT will separate its Global Gaming and PlayDigital businesses by way of a taxable spin-off to IGT shareholders and then immediately combine such businesses with Everi to create a comprehensive and diverse global gaming and fintech enterprise.

Under the terms of the agreements, at closing, IGT shareholders are expected to own approximately 54% and Everi stockholders are expected to own approximately 46% of the shares in the combined company. The transaction has been approved unanimously by all voting members of the IGT Board of Directors and Everi Board of Directors. The deal values the combined businesses at approximately $6.2 billion on an enterprise value basis.

“As previously announced, IGT’s Board of Directors embarked on a review of strategic alternatives for our Global Gaming and PlayDigital businesses as a way to unlock the intrinsic value of our portfolio of industry-leading assets. The transaction announced today is a key milestone in that process. The transaction will combine two robust gaming platforms with complementary capabilities, geographic footprints, and enhanced growth opportunities. It also facilitates the separation of IGT’s Global Gaming and PlayDigital businesses from our Global Lottery business, resulting in a pure play global lottery business. After closing, IGT’s shareholders will continue to own one hundred percent of IGT’s Global Lottery business, which is positioned for long-term success, and will own a majority of a combined company that offers global gaming, digital and fintech,” Marco Sala, IGT Executive Chair of the Board, said.

“We are bringing together two businesses with complementary strengths that are stronger and more valuable together. The combination results in a comprehensive and diverse product offering, addressing more aspects of the gaming ecosystem across land-based gaming, iGaming, sports betting, and fintech. The creation of separate gaming and lottery companies, each with experienced management teams and simplified business models, better positions each company to service customers and create significant value for stakeholders,” Vince Sadusky, CEO of IGT, said.

“We believe this merger combines two highly complementary businesses in a transformational manner, creating a global, land-based and digital gaming, fintech and systems business. We expect the combined company will deliver a comprehensive range of products and services that will engage gaming patrons and drive efficiencies and revenues to our customers,” Michael Rumbolz, Executive Chairman of Everi, said.

Solverde.pt, the Portuguese bookmaker and online casino, has announced partnerships with two new game creation studios: MGA Games, a Spanish company acknowledged for the creation and distribution of casino games, and Endorphina, recognised for the recent incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in slot machines.

The new partnerships mark a milestone: Solverde.pt is the first online casino in Portugal with 2500 games on a single platform.

Solverde.pt’s partnership with MGA Games, considered the Best Technology Provider at the Asocación JDigital Awards and Gaming, marks the Spanish company’s expansion into the Portuguese market. Among the games released, MGA Games has dedicated itself to integrating Portuguese entertainment personalities in its creations, like the Portuguese football player Paulo Futre, among others.

At the same time, the first batch of 25 Endorphina games is launched that will be available on the Portuguese platform, exclusively, for a month. The Game Developer established in more than 25 countries, with ten years of experience, it was the first casino game producer to create a Slot Machine entirely using AI algorithms. Among the games available, “Glory of Egypt”, “Book of Vlad”, “Dynamite Miner” and “Fisher King” stand out.

These two new partnerships, and consequent game launches, reaffirm Solverde.pt as the online casino with the largest offer of games in Portugal.

“The 2500 games on a single platform are a fundamental step for the company, which reinforces its leadership position in the sector. The collaboration with studios such as MGA Games and Endorphina allows us to lead in Portugal with an offer of innovation and excellence. Notably, MGA Games has a portfolio of 100 titles, created with HTML5 technology, that stand out for their graphical quality, and Edorphina made history by being the first company to develop a game entirely powered by AI, demonstrating its dedication to pushing the boundaries of creativity and technology,” Sérgio Pascoal, Director of R&D at Solverde.pt, said.

“The studio is confident that our slots will impress Solverde.pt players, as well as make them feel the true thrill of the game. We share a passion for entertainment and reflect that by delivering top-notch, high-value content to operators,” Javier Lanfranchi, Sales Director at MGA Games, said.

“By offering the state-of-the-art games of Endorphina, exclusively for Solverde.pt, we aim to provide a unique and exciting gaming experience that reflects both companies’ unwavering pursuit of innovation,” Jonathan Martini, Senior Sales Manager at Endorphina, said.

BHA Chief Executive Julie Harrington Statement Following Parliamentary Debate on Affordability Checks

BHA Chief Executive Julie Harrington has issued the following statement after MPs debated the impact of affordability checks.

“Yesterday’s debate on the impact of affordability checks on British racing has shone a light on a hugely important issue for our sport.

“It was vital that MPs were given proper parliamentary time to thoroughly interrogate the Government’s proposals and we were encouraged by the high turnout for a Westminster Hall debate.

“Many MPs made valuable contributions to the debate, and we are sure that Sports Minister Stuart Andrew will have listened with interest to the views expressed.

“From MPs of all parties and all sides of the debate, there was a clear recognition of the need for the Government to protect and support British racing when reviewing gambling legislation.

“If our sport is to remain a healthy industry, supporting jobs in the rural economy and remaining competitive with our international rivals, we hope that Government will heed this advice.

“We were encouraged by Minister Andrew ruling out the use of job titles and postcodes in the implementation of enhanced spending checks and confirming that these changes will at least be subject to a genuine pilot.

“We will continue to make the case into the heart of Government that the impact of these checks both on our industry and racing bettors needs to be carefully considered and look forward to further discussions on this important issue for British racing with the Gambling Commission and DCMS.”
