IESF Reaches a Record of 130 Member Nations

Seven New Nations Joined the IESF Family
The International Esports Federation (IESF) has wrapped up 2022 by officially welcoming 7 new member nations to the World Esports Family, bringing the total number to 130.
Bhutan, Canada, Guinea, Iceland, Moldova, Qatar, and Trinidad and Tobago have officially been accepted as members throughout 2022. By welcoming the new nations to the family, IESF shows steady growth and development, and comes closer to its mission of acceptance of esports as an official sport, raising awareness of esports, and bringing the community together.
Each country is represented by its official national esports organization:

Trinidad and Tobago – Electronic Sports Federation of Trinidad and Tobago
Asia:

Bhutan – Bhutan Mobile Esports Federation

Europe:

Iceland – Icelandic Esports Association

Moldova – Moldova Esports Federation
IESF President Vlad Marinescu said: “I am thrilled to welcome seven new members to the IESF Family. I feel immensely proud of how far we have come together, and expect success in the future. We will continue to provide the right tools and guide our member federations to success, and together we will achieve our goal of uniting the whole esports ecosystem and promoting sustainable gaming. I look forward to seeing all of you wave your flag proudly at the 15th World Esports Championships.”
IESF’s 15th World Esports Championships is set to be from 24 August to 4 September, in Iasi, Romania where more than 800 athletes are expected to participate.
