Fire & Ice 2023 : Theme Reveal

Fire & Ice 2023 : Beyond Our Wildest Dreams tells the story of the iGaming industry from the first online wager in 1994 through to today. Via its surrealistic surroundings and its most extraordinary stage show to date, the event honours the pioneers that have developed the industry from a dream into the most exciting intersection of entertainment and technology.

“I have been involved in the iGaming industry since 1997, and I have had the incredible privilege to watch it grow, through the efforts of some wonderful friends and colleagues, into something that has exceeded our wildest dreams. This year’s show tells that story and is itself – beyond our wildest dreams” said Fire & Ice co-organizer Michael Caselli.

Upon entering, guests are immersed in a surrealist landscape of 360-degree entertainment throughout the evening. A five-act stage extravaganza depicts, in metaphor, key moments in the industry’s history. But the real stars of the show are the legends that created the iGaming industry, some of whom feature within the entertainment.

Now in its 20^th year Fire & Ice, along with exclusive event partner SOFTSWISS, have brought top talent from across the globe to create a show that will be the crescendo of the event’s two-decade history.

Through globally renowned stage illusionists that stun the audience into disbelief, through to Italian illusion artist Johannes Stoetter who creates visual deceptions that beguile the mind, the audience will be cast into awe. Then aerial artist Leo Hedman, joined by the acclaimed Fuel Girls dance troupe, perform never-before-seen, high-energy performances choreographed exclusively for Fire & Ice.

Guiding the audio adventure is award-winning musical artist Peter Samson, ThePeteBox, who be joined by several other musical talents that will create the audio landscape for the evening. DJs including Maltese favourite John J-Joy Refalo and top London DJs for the main stage dance sets.

“Keeping the mood and spirits high for everyone, Fire & Ice is pleased to announce its collaboration with Gaba Labs and Sentia Spirits, who bring non-alcoholic, mood enhancing shots to guests choosing not to drink alcohol,” said co-organizer Jodie Thind.

But beyond the artists and performers, Fire & Ice is the event where friends and colleagues gather to celebrate the 30-year journey that is iGaming.

As always, the event is open to everyone in the iGaming industry. Several VIP tables will host VIP guests and event invitations are available at ICE (from Stand ND3-C)
