The Alpine Esports Endurance Cup Launches This Weekend

Alpine Esports is pleased to present the Alpine Esports Endurance Cup, a premier competition designed to empower grassroots sim racers to showcase their talents. This competition is the newest exciting addition to Alpine Esports’ racing series program alongside the popular Alpine Esports Series. Providing a unique opportunity for emerging talents, competitors will vie for a spot on the virtual podium by piloting Alpine LMP2 cars across four challenging circuits.

 

 

This new championship will see drivers work within teams to manage their tyres and adapt their fuel strategies to make it over the finish line before their rivals. This initiative aims to foster the growth of the esports and sim racing ecosystem.

Key Details

● Competitors: The Alpine Endurance Cup is set to host 50 drivers and 25 teams, all competing on the iRacing platform.

● Open server qualifying: Aspiring racers will have the chance to qualify on an open server, ensuring a level playing field for all competitors. Qualification occurs in two stages: first, a week-long process before the race, to secure one of the 50 open spots. The quickest top 50 qualify. Second, a 2-lap qualification session just before the race to determine the grid.

● The winning team will receive an exclusive, all expenses paid, experience for the 2024 WEC Round “6hrs of Spa”, including passes for the race and immersion with the Alpine Endurance Team

 

 

Broadcasting Excellence

The Alpine Esports Endurance Cup promises fans an immersive viewing experience, as the competition will be broadcast live on Alpine Esports’ official Twitch and YouTube channels.

Competition Schedule

● Round 1: 4 hours of Magny-Cours – October 14th, 10:30 AM CEST

● Round 2: 4 hours of Road America – October 28th, 10:30 AM CEST

● Round 3: 4 hours of Sebring – December 2nd, 10:30 AM CET

● Round 4: 12 hours of Fuji – January 6th, 10:30 AM CET

Skyesports, India’s leading esports tournament organizer, has onboarded Zebronics, the country’s leading brand in IT & gaming peripherals, home & personal entertainment, and lifestyle accessories as the gaming peripherals partner for the Skyesports Champions Series, an INR 10,00,000 esports tournament in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

The Skyesports Champions Series features India’s top esports teams competing for glory in BGMI across the semifinals (Feb. 28 to March 4) and the grand finals (March 5 to 10). With an exclusive livestream on YouTube in multiple languages, the tournament is set to captivate gaming audiences from across the country.

Zebronics, as the gaming peripherals partner, will be showcasing its exceptional array of products designed to meet the diverse needs of gamers. Additionally, the company’s vision of elevating esports talent in India has been met with the Skyesports Champions Series, a tournament that featured open-for-all qualifiers, giving a chance to every gamer from every nook-and-corner of the country to compete professionally.

After a series of intense open qualifiers, only 24 teams remain in the semifinals of the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) 2024. This includes the countries’ top esports teams such as iQOO Soul, Revenant Esports, Blind Esports, Gods Reign, Orangutan, Entity Gaming, and more.

Set to happen from Feb. 28 to March 4, the semifinalists battle it out in BGMI for the 16 slots in the Grand Finals. All the action will be broadcast live from 1 PM IST onwards in Hindi and Tamil on the Skyesports YouTube channel.

Finally, the top 16 teams will compete in the Grand Finals from March 5 to 10, aiming to claim the title of the Skyesports Champions Series 2024 champions and seize a lion’s share of the INR 10,00,000 prize pool.

Saudi’s Savvy Games and Esports Delegation Conducts High-level Visit to Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu

HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation and Vice Chairman of Savvy Games Group (Savvy), and Brian Ward, CEO of Savvy, have this month led a senior business delegation to China. The delegation was accompanied by senior leaders from VSPO, the leading Chinese esports company, including Dino Ying, co-founder and CEO, and Danny Tang, co-founder, CFO and head of strategy.

Visiting Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu, the delegation engaged with current and future partners in China’s games and esports industry. The visit further strengthened commercial partnerships between China, the world’s biggest esports market, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it implements Vision 2030 and becomes a leading global hub for gaming and esports.

In 2023, Savvy, wholly owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, invested $265 million into VSPO, becoming the largest international investor. Savvy’s long-term investment is helping VSPO to continue to deliver on its global strategy and accelerate the growth of mobile esports.

The meetings in the visit also covered preparations for the inaugural Esports World Cup (EWC) which will take place in Riyadh in the summer of 2024.
