Leveraging Unreal Engine, Endix creates an incredibly realistic city where the event is hosted. Gamers can create and customise their own avatar and meet up with their friends before exploring the city and all that’s on offer. In addition to visiting the exhibition center and experiencing booths like never before, attendees can play games that are being showcased in real time.
Alongside its use of Unreal Engine development, Endix also uses scalable technologies offered by Amazon Web Services so that sessions can be scaled up or down depending on the needs of each brand, whilst ensuring gamers have a seamless experience.
Nikos Perifanis, founder of Endix, said: “Endix’s vision has always been about providing an accessible experience for gamers to enjoy the perks of a physical event in a digital world, where physical limitations are removed. We have been able to bring that to life through our own events and now we can take it to the next level.
“Heaven Media has an extensive offering and decades of experience in the events space, so I’m thrilled to work with the team to build upon their events service and bring even more value to their clients.”
Brands across all industries can use Endix to create digital activations for gamers to experience their products in an immersive and adjustable game environment.
With Endix, brands can:
Be accessible: Everyone has the opportunity to attend, connect and engage without physical restrictions and geographical boundaries.
Eliminate physical restrictions: Creativity has no limits in Endix. Clients can create branded digital activations and immersive experiences to engage with fans.
Be authentic: Sell authentic brand activations worldwide by targeting audiences such as Gen Z and Gen Alpha directly, with opportunities to build a loyal audience in environments they are familiar with.
Be bold: Create a fully branded gamified world that speaks directly to gamers’ hearts.
Direct conversions: Using integrations and URLs, brands can redirect users to preferred pages and systems.
Advertise more: Brands can communicate their products and services in an environment where gamers are less ad-resistant and more curious to explore.
To date, Endix has hosted its own three-day virtual event that included 17 explorable booths, ten of which featured game demos, and ten esports stands.
Mark Reed, founder and managing director of Heaven Media, added: “Heaven Media has been supporting brands in the events space for two decades, creating memorable experiences and helping to deliver exciting activations at events like Gamescom, GDC and PAX.
“Endix was built to give gamers something that feels natural, whilst providing the features and experiences you would expect from Unreal. A huge amount of thought and planning has gone into giving an event-like experience that is as good as, or better than, a Gamescom or PAX.
“We all love to play demos (without the queues), see unique video content, enter competitions and get free merch. Imagine being able to do that in the comfort of your home? Well with Endix, you can.”
Heaven Media’s success in the events space, combined with Endix’s vision to create an accessible experience for all gamers, opens up a new realm of possibilities for brands.
