Crystal Partners with Playtech for Enhanced Casino Experience

Playtech announced that its subsidiary, IGS, will be expanding its Casino Management Software (CMS) offerings to Crystal.
IGS is renowned for providing the leading CMS solution, Neon, to the land-based casino industry serving prestigious brands in Europe such as Grosvenor, Holland Casino, Melco and Olympic.
Neon is designed to cover all operational procedures in a land-based casino, from registration and gaming floor management to AML/KYC compliance and tracking loyalty. It also includes an expanded marketing suite for bonusing on tables and slots. The Neon team has successfully extended its innovative solutions to the cruise industry, integrating passenger manifests, room keys for player tracking and on-ship wallet access. Building on this success, IGS signed a deal with Crystal in 2024 to install its CMS solution on its two ships – Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony – in conjunction with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer for the first-ever Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea.
Crystal recently announced an order for three additional ocean vessels with the first debuting in 2028. Players can access their on-ship wallet at the point of play or from the cash desk while automatically interacting with the loyalty programme. The agreement includes the installation of the latest Neon Floor Fabric slot system and, crucially, the first installation globally of Neon Tables Manager – Playtech’s 4th generation table and player tracking solution. This new system replaces the award-winning Neon Tables X and will be rolled out to all Neon casino operators in 2025.
Michael Farrell, Director of Casino Operations at Crystal, said: “We are pleased to partner with IGS and integrate their cutting-edge Casino Management Software into our ships. This collaboration will enhance the gaming experience for our guests, providing them with seamless access to top-tier casino entertainment while they enjoy their sailing with us.”
Tom Arnold, Commercial Director at Playtech Neon, said: “We are delighted to be working with Crystal Cruises and our longstanding partners at SBM. This partnership allows us to expand our existing cruise and casino functions while launching our new technology to more players and casino staff around the world.”
