International game development studio Fugaso has welcomed the approach of the summer season with the launch of new summer-vibe slot, ‘Deep Blue Sea’. Fugaso (short for Future Gaming Solutions) is an advanced technology company having the capacity to build-in various interesting nuances within game design to make a more immersive experience for players.

Deep Blue Sea is set on the ocean bed with a cast of cute and cuddly cartoon characters reprising 5 reels packed with 26 paylines that sit within the remains of an undersea temple, it’s columns providing the framework for game play. Exciting features of Deep Blue Sea apart from the Walking Wilds include Substitutions, Free Spins, a Re-Spin Feature and Bonus Games. The Bonus character is unmistakable, a large pirates chest filled to the brim with treasure in the shape of gold doubloons topped with a generous string of pearls. All this ocean activity is reminiscent of Summer fun at the beach for this medium volatility game with an RTP of 96.00% and the lighthearted soundbed perfectly compliments this with a jaunty xylophone, bubbles, gurgles and watery wooshes.

The new five-reel 26-payline Deep Blue Sea is packed with rich features and engaging characters and comes in a wide range of languages for an international audience; English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish, Turkish and Russian. Interestingly the Play Button is rendered in a bronze riveted porthole mounted on marine driftwood with two starfish rounding-out the maritime theme nicely. NeoGames S.A subsidiary Wizard Games has appointed Yoganand Aiyadurai as Director of Game Technology as it continues to bolster its senior leadership team.

Aiyadurai boasts a wealth of experience across software engineering roles in a career spanning more than 28 years, including 21 years with Derivco, part of the Microgaming Group now Games Global.

Among his responsibilities at Wizard Games will be overseeing the research and development department at the studio, as well as continuing to develop and expand the provider’s IT infrastructure to enable production demand.

In addition, he will be responsible for overseeing market planning and trends, working closely with other senior employees at Wizard Games.

It marks the latest major hire by the supplier, having appointed Simon Jagdhar as Director of Game Studio in November 2022, as it continues to expand its footprint in key regulated markets.
