Delaware sports betting records strong growth in November

Delaware’s sports betting market has recorded a strong performance in November, fuelled by robust growth in customer wagers.
The overall betting revenue in November 25 increased to $16.4m, which after player winnings of $15.1m and vendor fees of $160,711 left revenue of $1.1m for the state. This marked a 151 per cent month-on-month increase, though lags behind September’s $3.2m revenue total.
Delaware Park was responsible for $805,285 of total revenue, with a total of 338,965 bets placed over the month.
Since June 24, Delaware has generated $6.8m in revenue from total player stakes of $70.9m.
Delaware’s iGaming market failed to match the sports betting vertical, with revenue falling 8 per cent from the October calendar month to $209,235, which is mainly from video lottery games accounted for $123,005 of the total, followed by $68,336 from table games, while poker rake and tournament fees generated $17,894.
