GAMOMAT, one of the leading independent software developers for slot games, has won double gold for Best Game Development Company Central Europe and Game Retro-Style for Fancy Fruits Deluxe.

The first gold came in SlotCatalog’s Award for Best Game Development Company Central Europe. Each of the nominees was judged solely on analytical data rather than subjective views. This award was focused on games being promoted in casino lobbies as it provides a clear, quantifiable measure of a title’s popularity and reach. Being named Best Game Development Company Central Europe crowns a highly successful period for the business.

A second gold arrived thanks to Fancy Fruits Deluxe coming top in the Game Retro-Style category. It was the first release as part of the Deluxe Series, which was introduced to celebrate GAMOMAT’s 15th anniversary last year. Fancy Fruits Deluxe is the advanced rendition of the much-loved classic Fancy Fruits. It retains the classic appeal and simple mechanics that made the original a land-based and online success, while bringing a fresh, modern edge with enhanced graphics and a user-friendly interface.

The CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards is an annual celebration of excellence and innovation in the iGaming industry, marking significant contributions from developers across the world.

Dietmar Hermjohannes, Managing Director at GAMOMAT Development GmbH said: “What a great honour! Winning double gold at the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards is an astonishing achievement for all involved at GAMOMAT. Winning Best Game Development Company Central Europe is extra special, as the award is judged solely on empirical evidence that shows the vast reach and popularity our games have across the industry. Coming top in the Game Retro-Style Award with Fancy Fruits Deluxe shows we are on the right track with the Deluxe Series. I am so proud of what we accomplished in the past few years.”

The Game Studio of the Year award is testament to Play’n GO’s outstanding 2023 performance, which saw the studio release more than 50 premium titles, increase its market share globally, and continue its rapid growth in the US by the award of new state licenses and operator partnerships.

The company posted both its most successful month in its near 20-year history, and it’s record number of rounds played in a single day in late Q4 of 2023, and these awards are testament to the consistent excellence displayed by the legendary game studio.

Ebba Arnred, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder, Play’n GO, said: “We’re honoured to be on the receiving end of these awards, and it is particularly pleasing to receive Game Studio of the Year for the second year running.

We want to push the boundaries of what’s possible in entertainment, and the Hugo Legacy soundtrack is a perfect example of our commitment to that mission.

“These awards are testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at Play’n GO, and this is encouragement for all of us to double down and make 2024 an even better year for the company. We’ll be back for the three-peat next year!”
