Maxima Compliance launches new services, including industry-first Maxima Insource
Compliance provider Maxima Compliance has launched a bespoke insourcing service as it continues to expand and tailor the way it supports clients across the gaming industry.
Maxima Insource is a first-of-its-kind compliance insourcing service, with Maxima Compliance providing a dedicated team member to work within a client’s business.
The team member will be available to work daily within a client’s business, while maintaining the support of the best compliance team in the industry, providing a best-of-both-worlds solution.
The Maxima Insource resource will handle all compliance-related matters for the client, while retaining an open line to the rest of the Maxima Compliance team.
This flexible new solution provides dedicated support without the need to expand payroll.
Maxima Compliance has also launched a full outsourcing service for internal audits for Malta-licensed gaming companies. The service tracks progress and produces a full report to the specifications required by the MGA.
Maxima Compliance CEO Antonio Zanghi said: “Maxima Insource is the result of countless conversations with leaders across our industry. Many businesses in this space are struggling to identify and hire the type of expertise required to navigate compliance challenges.
“Maxima Insource provides an out-of-the-box solution for world-class compliance support without the need to build and manage large and expensive in-house teams. We provide a team member who sits within your organisation, but at that same time can easily draw upon the expertise of Maxima Compliance as a whole.
“Alongside our newly-launched outsourcing service for MGA reporting, Maxima Compliance now offers an unparalleled set of tools for tackling today’s compliance challenges.”
Maxima Compliance’s suite of products and services has expanded rapidly in recent months. This includes the recent launch of Maxima DataVault, a proprietary multi-jurisdictional solution, through which operators will be able to comply with the requirements of several European regulated markets.
Finnplay receives new Swedish B2B licence
Nordic iGaming platform provider, Finnplay, has received the new B2B licence from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) to supply its leading iGaming platform service in Sweden.
Since Sweden regulated online gambling in 2019, Finnplay has been providing its innovative platform software to operators in the market. As a proud Nordic provider, Finnplay has always considered Sweden a high-priority market and the company is eager to continue to offer its technology and services within the region.
Finnplay is currently working on two new innovative projects targeted to go live later this year. With the new B2B licence, the company is looking forward to helping even more operators expand their reach into the dynamic Nordic market.
Additional details regarding Finnplay’s Swedish licence approval can be found here.
Finnplay’s Managing Director, Jaakko Soininen commented: “As a Nordic-based B2B platform provider specialising in regulatory compliance, we are especially pleased to be among the first group of companies to receive the Swedish B2B supplier licence. Sweden is an important neighbouring market for us, and we currently have several exciting new projects in development with plans to launch this year. So, this was an important and necessary achievement for our company. Vi är glada över att kunna fortsätta vår framgång i Sverige – tack Spelinspektionen.”
Play’n GO secures new Swedish supplier licence
Play’n GO has announced the acquisition of a Swedish B2B suppliers’ licence, ensuring that the world’s leading gaming entertainment supplier will continue supplying its unmatched catalogue of games in Sweden.
While Play’n GO continue to expand globally, this licence renewal shows the company’s continued commitment to the European market, in this instance specifically to its founding country, Sweden.
Play’n GO’s popular catalogue of games includes the world’s most popular online slot game, Book of Dead, as well as 2023 smash hit Legion Gold and the ever-popular Reactoonz series among 300 premium titles in the portfolio.
The Swedish licence acquisition is the second of 2023 for the company, following the US iGaming state of Connecticut just weeks ago.
In 2022, the company entered a number of new regulated markets including the Canadian province of Ontario, alongside the US states of New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia.
Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n GO, added: “Sweden is Play’n GO’s home turf. We are most certainly a global company today, with both staff and customers all over the world, but we maintain our firm roots in Sweden to this day. It’s extra special for us to receive one of the first licences from the regulator Spelinspektionen.
“Of course, we will continue to supply the most exciting and safe casino gaming experience to Swedish players, as we have done for nearly 20 years.
“Our content today is used by operators in the Swedish market to excite and retain their players. with innovative cross-sell slots like Gerard’s Gambit on the horizon, I don’t think the Swedish market has truly seen the full might of Play’n GO yet.
“We would like to thank Spelinspektionen for the swift granting of our licence so early in the process, allowing us to continue leading from the front in supplying the safest, most entertaining casino experience for players in our home market of Sweden.”
Thunderkick granted newly installed Swedish supplier licence
Independent slots studio Thunderkick has been granted a B2B permit in Sweden following the introduction of new regulations by the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA).
Companies must now hold a gaming software permit in order to distribute content in the country, with new regulations expected to come into force on July 1st, 2023.
The move marks a significant milestone for the Stockholm-based studio and will allow it to continue providing games to one of its core and top-performing markets.
With player favourites like Dionysus Golden Feast and new, innovative titles such as The Wildos available, this market consolidation continues Thunderkick’s mission to provide its portfolio in key regions.
Wan Kim, Head of Compliance at Thunderkick, said: “We’re really pleased to have been selected for a B2B permit. We look forward to working with the SGA and are thankful to them for a swift and simple process.
“It’s crucial for us to remain compliant in every market but especially our home one, and we’re excited that we can continue showcasing our games to our fellow Swedes.”
