We are taking the time to introduce you to the experts that will be joining the panel discussion and today, we are introducing you to Jeremy Kleiman (Gaming Attorney and Member at Saiber LLC).

Jeremy Kleiman focuses his practice on gaming, regulatory, and business law, representing casino operators, gaming equipment suppliers, technology providers, and financial institutions involved in the gaming and lottery industries.  He specializes in gaming-related corporate, regulatory, licensing, and compliance matters, with an emphasis on the online and mobile gaming industry.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Jeremy served as Executive Vice President, Regulatory & Business Affairs for Coastal Development, LLC, a developer, investor and operator in casino resorts and racetracks.  In that role, he was responsible for the company’s legal affairs, government relations, and compliance functions, as well as sourcing, negotiating, and executing on a number of business transactions.  Jeremy’s background and experience on the business side of the gaming industry uniquely position him to counsel and advise clients on transactional and regulatory matters while understanding the clients’ business objectives.

Jeremy had previously been a member of the Firm and head of its Gaming Law Practice Group prior to his time at Coastal Development.  He advised financial institutions, gaming equipment manufacturers, lottery providers, and casino operators on all matters related to licensing, compliance and other regulatory matters.

Jeremy is a co-founder and director of iDevelopment and Economic Association (iDEA), an industry association seeking to grow jobs and expand online interactive entertainment business in the United States through advocacy and education.

Jeremy serves on the Board of Trustees of the International Association of Gaming Advisors, is a past Chair of the Casino Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association, and is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law. He is a frequent panelist at gaming industry conferences.

Global esports organisation Gen.G announced their acquisition of YOUR.GG, a data analysis and networking platform for League of Legends players. This partnership comes as a new method for Gen.G to enhance the Gen.G Global Academy experience for students in the programme.

FanDuel TV, the cable television network from leading online gaming company FanDuel, announced the launch of “FanDuel TV Extra,” a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel. “FanDuel TV Extra” is currently available on a variety of streaming platforms including Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Xumo Play, Plex, and through FanDuel’s own OTT platform FanDuel TV+.

EPIC Global Solutions have completed a hat-trick of wins at the prestigious SBC Awards North America, having been named as the event’s “Player Protection Service Provider of the Year” for a third year in a row. The globally-leading specialists in mitigating gambling-related harm were recognised once again at the New York ceremony, at an event that acknowledges excellence across all aspects of the gambling industry across North America.

Pragmatic Play is set to participate in CGS Santiago this month, as the provider seeks further inroads across the continent. The provider is also the standalone Diamond Sponsor at the event, which takes place at Espacio Riesco in the country’s capital, Santiago, on May 29 and 30.

Circa Sports has expanded its operations into Kentucky with the launch of its popular mobile betting app. Debuting via a licensing agreement with ECL Corbin LLC at its Cumberland Run harness track, the brand will take the highest betting limits in the industry along with offering tight money line splits, transparent odds, exceptional customer service and more.

Partnerships

Motorsport Games Inc. announced the launch of RaceControl.gg, a new dedicated platform designed to enhance player engagement with the latest news, updates, tips and tricks its most recent game, Le Mans Ultimate. As part of this exciting initiative, Motorsport Games has partnered with Coach Dave Academy to manage the content and development of RaceControl.gg. Under this partnership, Coach Dave Academy (CDA), renowned for their expertise in creating car setups in racing simulations, will curate and manage the content on RaceControl.gg, ensuring fans and players have access to the most relevant and useful information.

NetBet has announced that it will expand NetBet Mexico’s library of games with the addition of IGT PlayDigital titles. While there will be many exciting games from IGT PlayDigital that will be made available for NetBet Mexico customers, the library of new titles will be led by omnichannel player-favourite IGT PlayDigital games such as Cleopatra, DaVinci Diamonds and Golden Goddess.

Brazilian football club Vasco da Gama and Betfair, one of the largest online sports betting companies in the world, announced the biggest sponsorship agreement in the club’s history. The contract is valid until December 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal for two more seasons. The company’s brand will be displayed in the men’s team’s master property, and includes the inclusion of Betfair on the shoulder blade of the women’s team’s shirts, in addition to exclusive official digital content from Legítimo Clube do Povo.

NBC Sports will continue to present the Kentucky Derby on NBC and Peacock through 2032, as Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) and NBC Sports announced a multi-year extension of their partnership. The extension of the NBC Sports-Churchill Downs relationship – which began with the 2001 “Run for the Roses” – will make NBC the longest running home of the Kentucky Derby, as NBCUniversal will become the first media company to present the most prestigious event in horse racing for three decades (32 editions of the Kentucky Derby from 2001-32).

WinnaVegas Casino Resort, a premier destination in Western Iowa, announced the extension of its partnership with Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI), a leading provider of advanced analytics solutions for the gaming industry. This renewal underscores WinnaVegas’ commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology and superior support to drive business success.

The PGA of America and PENN Entertainment announced a multiyear sports betting partnership. Under the agreement, ESPN BET becomes the “Official Sports Betting Sponsor” of the PGA Championship through 2026. The 2024 PGA Championship will take place at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky from May 16-19. This agreement marks a milestone for the PGA Championship as it becomes the first men’s golf major to establish an official sports betting sponsor.

This month The Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise honoured 186 of its total 1200 team members for reaching significant employment milestones including 15, 10 and 5 years of service for the enterprise. The event at Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort in Flagstaff, Ariz. showcased the impact and journey of each hard-working team member, with a special highlight for 29 employees who have served for 15 years.

Bruce Smith Enterprise and The Cordish Companies have been selected by the City of Petersburg, Virginia to codevelop a $1.4 billion Live! Gaming & Entertainment District, anchored by Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia. The Petersburg City Council unanimously approved Bruce Smith Enterprise and The Cordish Companies as the City’s preferred development partner on the transformative mixed-use project. The proposed project will generate billions of dollars in economic benefits and spinoff development, create thousands of new jobs and benefits to the local community and become a major new tourist destination for the City and the Central Virginia region.

Travellers around the world can take advantage of accommodations, meals, discounts and more at Hard Rock and Seminole casinos, hotels and cafes, and on Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises vacations based on the milestone announcement made by two of South Florida’s largest private employers.

SCCG Management has signed a contract with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), the B.C. Crown corporation which conducts and manages commercial gambling in the province, including lotteries, casinos and online gaming. This partnership aims to undertake a comprehensive assessment and strategic enhancement of BCLC’s diverse operations. The work between SCCG and BCLC will involve a thorough review of technological infrastructures, strategic market positioning and the integration of various gaming modalities.
